    Hi

I've been eating Zone bars for a while now and LOVE the Chocolate Carmel Cluster which has:

    16 Grams of Protein
    300MG of sodium
    21 Carbs
    14g of sugar
    7G fat, 5 saturated, o trans fat

I'll have 1-2 a day as a snack....What do you guys think of these?

I just got a box so I hope I get the JSF approval.

    thanks

I love those bars as well, but I keep them for emergency meals only. I doubt theyll get the JSF approval for 2X a day :(

Why dont you make your own bars? Itll be cheaper and they wont have all the extra garbage thats in manufactured bars. I DO eat my bars twice a day sometimes.

LOL Oh you can make these if you can stir! There are probably a billion recipes for these somewhere (and probably better ones), but I can tell you what I do:
Get like a 9X9 baking pan (or anything flat)
    3 cups of oatmeal
    8 scoops of protein powder
1 package of instant ff/sf pudding
2 cups milk (or less if you want them firmer)

Stir until its all the same consistency, cut into 8 pieces :p

You can put them in the freezer to harden them up, but I like mine kinda goopy. And you have to keep these refrigerated too.

Do a search-- I bet there are a lot better recipes around! But mine is super friggen easy!

They are pretty EZ to make, and they are better than a prepackaged bar... I can testify to that... Even the wife liked them :)
