mix Creatine in with other foods, such as, sprinkling it on my oatmeal in the morning with some honey and then blending it in?

The accepted method of ingesting Creatine seems to be putting it in a high-glycemic liquid.

But...meat products like Beef contain Creatine. Of course, you wouldn't get as much from eating a steak as you would if you mixed some in a glass.

For maximum effect I understand the mix-in-liquid concept but does this mean you will get zero benefit by blending it into food stuffs?

I have not tried mixing it in food, interesting question.

    I have mixed into a during-workout shake:

    - Xtend (Scivation)
    - Substance WPI (Primaforce)
    - Creatine Select (Beverly International)
    - Water

Not sure if that helps you or not, but just another idea. :)

You could mix it with other foods etc., but it would be less effective at getting transported into your muscles (which is why they recommend ingesting it with a high GI liquid).

Night get there slower, but it would still most likely get there. No hard fast rules to that sort of thing anyway. If you feel its effective after doing it for a while, whose to argue really?

I see little problem with "bending" the rules.
