Just wanted to poll who is in California? I've lived here all my life. I know John & Co. have annual meetings in Orlando. Who is out here in California, what area (Northern/Southern) and how long have you lived here?

I'm from Northern California (Sonoma) and have lived here 24 out of 26 years of my life. I lived in Chicago and TX in my early 20's.

    I might be soon.

Got an interview in San Francisco this week. I've never been to S.F so I don't really know what to expect, but I have heard great things. Here's hoping....

Stockton?! That's where I'm at! Northern Stockton area. :D

I've been here in Cali all my life too. I'm a Bay Area - Central Valley transfer...

Yeah, good luck to you Bigpapi! :tu:
    Come to the West Side...
Bring warm clothes, maybe a thick coat and be prepared for fog. Just in case.

I actually live in Patterson but I work off of March & I-5. I'll roam around anywhere from Country Club to Hammer Lane on my lunches...

Born in LA, stationed at Miramar SD. Got out and lived in San Jose. My wife convinced me that going back to school in Virginia was the way to go. (Cost of living is noting!) Miss Cali every single day. Once I graduate I plan on heading back that way. I have lived all over the US and Canada. Cali, to me, is the best! EXPENSIVE! But no other place offers so much. Great weather, great flying, Dunes for bikes, and of course the surfing is awsome as well. The east coast is nice, but its not home.

    Named my Dog Cali.

San Diego here. I live way down in the South Bay. I agree with Needachange. It's expensive but well worth it. I run at 6:30 in the morning in my shorts. I actually wore sweats today and was dying. I run in the Tijuana River Valley. Just me, some horses and lots of Border Patrol. As long as I stay on the path I am pretty safe.

The Tijuana River Valley is an interesting place. It's just a bunch of farms and dirt roads and horses but it butts up against Mexico so there is a huge Border Patrol presence. It is probably one of the heaviest patrolled areas in the world so I feel pretty safe.

It's a great place to run because you have the place to yourself.
