What are your fitness goals for 2010?

    • Compete in 2 - 3 grip comps
    • Qualify for Nationals
    • Visible Abs by March
    • AVOID INJURIES

    :eek: A 600lb unequipped squat is something truly special.

    In powerlifting? Which fed?


    Visible abs AND a 600lb squat? Sweet zombie jesus! :)

    Here are mine:

    - Bench my body weight
    - Run at least one 5k
    - 10% bodyfat
    - Squat 1.5x my body weight (at current weight goal would be 276)

    It was one of my goals for 2009, but I didn't really even come close to it. My best raw squat to date is 540, so I have a long way to go. It's going to take a ton of luck to accomplish this.

    No. I meant in grip. You have to place top 3 in a qualifier, and that gets you to Nationals. Just something I'd like to take a shot at!:tucool:

    Ha Ha! I just want to have some abs for the Arnold in March......after that's over I'm going to fatten myself up again!:lol::D

    9000 deadlift!

    J/k.

    Hit 250 lbs at a reasonable BF%, cut to a low bf%, find a super hot girl
    bench 405 18.5 inch arms 30 inch legs 17.5 inch calves 50+inch chest and be sexy

    My goals?

    Squat 1.5xBW (would be 270 lbs currently)

    Get visible six-pack (=cutting to 7-8% BF)

    Not missing any workouts and getting into a 'funk'

    In order of priority but maybe not chronology :)

    1) Hot girl...yeah, been without one of those for a while :)

    2) Get down to 200lbs or 10% bf, whichever I hit first depending on muscle gains/losses. Mid 220s now with bf probably close to 20%, down from mid 250s in earl Sept. 09, and down from a lifetime high of 273 in early 2007.

    3) Get stronger (still working on specific strength goals)

    4) Run a 12k in May and get a Bloomsday finisher shirt.

    1. 50 'womens' Pushups. (PB is 3)
    2. Be able to go for a 20 minute jog. (PB is about 30 secs)
    3. Do the Maccas fun run in August sometime.
    4. 36" gut down to 33"

    1) to be able to do 25 military style pushups (currently doing girlie ones on my knees)

    2) to be able to do 10 full pullups

    3) to be under 200lbs for the first time in over 20 years (getting close now)

    4) to be in a bikini by late summer

    Squat 225 lbs for 5 reps.

    Deadlift 315 lbs for 5 reps.

    Be able to do a few unassisted pull ups.

    Have a flat stomach. Don't need a 6 pack, just nothing bulging out on the sides.

    Fitness goals:
    1. Being able to train injury free again (get my left-shoulder 100% again)
    2. Avoid new injuries
    3. Once injury free: get back to my old strength and bodyweight stats
    4. After that: getting stronger and bigger than I was before my injury, not sure yet what strength stats are realistic, as that depends on how I recover. I'll just take it one step at the time and adjust my goals according to the results

    In order of priority:

    -Get into a gym with free weights and so fill in the areas of my body which have been in neglect due to the lack of equipment
    -Increase my VO2 Max considerably
    -Increase protein intake to 1.5g per lean lb
    -Reduce fat intake to 20-25%
    -Increase strength
    -Acheive a weight of 14.5 to 15 stone
    -Reduce bodyfat to 10-12% (?)

    I think that's a decent summary of my goals for 2010.

    My goals for 2010 are as follows

    • Get down to 8-10% BF
    • Put on 5 lbs of lean mass
    • Decrease my 5K time to 25 mins
    • Run a 10K at a decent pace
    • Improve my treading time to 10+ mins
    • Vastly improve my front stroke, breast stroke and back stroke

    I'd be happy if I could achieve these goals :jumping:
