I still don't believe that was me just shy of two years ago. I still wish to cut 15 more pounds, or at least be one clothing size smaller. I used to be a 20-22W( weight #210 lbs) and am now a Misses 8(Weight 149 lbs). People think I am nuts when I tell them I want to cut more, I suppose because my arms & shoulders look thinner & a little defined. What they don't see is some belly fat that will not shrink unless I cut a little bit more. For my height(5'4"), I can down to 125, so 135 ( my goal) is attainable.

Work out is a 4 day split ( right now).
Upper on T-F ( plus 45 min. cardio)
    (Day 1 - Chest + shoulders) (Day 2 - Back & Arms)
Pull Ups (asst), Bext over rows, curls, pull downs, presses etc...

Lower on M-Th.( 30 min. of cardio)
(Day 1 - ATG squats, leg presses & extensions, obliques, abs)
    Day 2- Deads, GM's, Calves, Abs) ~~TODAY~~:bb:

W-Sat-Sun off but I do walk a lot at work on Fri, Sat, Sun.

** If I can only go 3 days I do a full body routine that over the course of the week will hit each body part twice.

    Diet: 30/40/30:eat:
1800 cals on 45 min. cardio days
1700 cals on 30 minute cardio days.
    W- 1500 cals
Sat- Sun 1800 cals. I am awake too many hours & walk to much to eat only 1500 cals.

These are not the greatest pics. I am going to have a friend take some for me next week. I just could not get a good pic of myself taken by me in the mirror!

p.s. I broke the 1.5 century mark with my wieght! Woo - hoo!:claphigh:

This one and the one above were 5 weeks ago. I have dropped a bit more body fat since then.

Amazing transformation and dedication! You dont resemble your "before" pics in anyway now...you look like, and in some ways I am sure are, a different person! :tu:

I do look like a different person! I still cannot believe it sometimes. I carry around a 'before' picture and when I show people they are in shock.

I hate looking at 'before' pics ( there are not many!) but I do so to remember where I was and where I never want to be again.

    Welcome rochskier.... :)

If anyone would have introduced me to fitness two years ago I would have turned my cheek. Find something that will motivate you. For me, it was going to my 20th HS reunion. I didn't go to my 10th because I had just had a baby, and because my best freind ( I would only go if she was going) was going to be on vacation. So I decided not to go.

I wanted to look good at my 20th! I wanted to wear a halter dress and heels. That was not going to be the case in the size I was. I am so glad I took the steps and I never want to go back. I danced all night and had a blast.

Anytime I get asked for help in fitness ( which I rarely give out because I just don't feel comfortable doing so) I say:

"Where do you want to be 6 months from now? The road to a long journey begins with the first step. If you put it off, you will be the same ( maybe worse) in 6 months. Don't you wish you had started 6 months ago? So take the step, TODAY. :gl:

That is the key now, never go back. Always stepping forward and upward. You can look this good at your 50th. You have the power!

I worked out today for the first time in 10 days. The time off felt good, but odd. I had had really been pushing myself the 7 weeks prior, so the rest period was needed.

RTE -- when I first joined JSF, it was your posts that convinced me to lift heavy weights. I never posted back then ( last spring) but kept reading that us gals should lift heavy too... I am glad that I did! Thank you! :)

pminn -- KEEP GOING! Think of long term goals instead of quick fixes. You have to want to do it so badly you dream about iron. Nothing can stop you, once you set your mind to it.

M@ -- I still can't do one dang pull-up! A wide grip pull-up is one of goals. I am hoping by 4th of July to get to that goal. I can probally do one chin up. I will try Thurs.
I have read your journal... good luck on SGX! I will be checking in to see how you do with it. Post pics! :)
