Maybe it's just me, but it seems bodybuilders have to be as talented in the kitchen as they are in the gym.

Pan chicken breast, asparagus, onion, sea salt, pepper

Today I cooked up a pack of 1.21 pounds of chicken breasts on the stove with some asparagus, white onion, sea salt and pepper. I also used some Pam olive oil spray. I topped it with a 1/2 cup of brown rice. It made a total of 4 meals. Very easy for me to do. I used kitchen scissors to cut the breasts up into bite sized chunks. I got the idea from Jay Cutler's video "One Step Closer."

    Stuffed Sausage Poblano Peppers

    poblanos.jpg

Spicy chicken sausage, onions, green peppers, garlic, salsa, chipotle pepper, and some 2% cheese were stuffed in and baked. I thought about grilling them for a bit then bringing them in to bake some cheese and salsa on the outside, but I was just experimenting after picking up some p

P+F meal. If I was still doing carbs today (I'm carb cycling), I would have loaded in some black beans and/or brown rice, but it was good and spicy anyway.

Not a close up I'm afraid and nothing very fancy.... this was a second post-workout meal: tuna burger (recipe found on JSF :)) made of tuna, carrots, chives, onions, garlic, eggs and bread crumbs, with fajitas and curd/chive dip and pineapple/melon fruit salad.

would usually have eaten the tuna burger with salad but had to finish off the fajitas and fruit - was delicious anyways

I make something similar to this on an almost daily basis:

    di.jpg

I like my chicken dryer than most people so it comes out pretty dark. This is 12 ounces of chicken with 100 grams of green beans. It's cooked in 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil.
    Lasts two meals. :eat:

Holy lord Mannish, those peppers look delicious.

I've been reduced lately to a lot of microwave. Too lazy/busy to use the stove on the other side of campus (where I am living for the summer).

Tonight I threw some organic baby carrots in a plastic container, tbsp of olive oil, 1 6oz chicken breast (already grilled and stored) and then half a slice of LiveActive cheese for taste on the chicken.

Nuked it up, came out alright.

I would post a picture, but it's not hard to envision.

Salad, Celery, All Natural PB, and a copy of Natural BB & Fitness

Today I made a salad with romaine letuce and baby spinach, green onion, white onion, almond slices, olive oil, fat free cheese, 2 slices of microwave bacon, 1 can chicken, broccoli, baby carrots, grape tomatos, and some asian sesame dressing. A few celery sticks on the side with some all natural peanut butter made with my VitaMix 5000 blender. Also, a copy of Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness for dessert :D

    Ooops, almost forgot WATER!

    What a great thread!

My favorite lunches are usually a combination of bright greens and bright reds; spinach and strawberries, or broccoli and cranberries, or green onion and red peppers.

There are so many fantastic blogs with beautiful pictures of food accompanying their recipes. :dreamy:

Here's one of the more healthy ones:
    The Great Big Vegetable Challenge!

Here are some of my recent meals that I've taken photos of:
Poached eggs, fat free ham, and spinach over thinly sliced whole wheat toast.
Moroccan chicken with prunes, curried rice with raisins and almonds, steamed broccoli.
Sweet potatoes, chicken quick-fried with water, canned green beans (a quick and simple one)
Barbecued salmon portion, half of a sweet potato, steamed broccoli, raw carrot sticks.
Spinach, cajun chicken breast, orange pepper, and sliced tomato on a flour tortilla.
Pasta salad with broccoli and shrimp.
Pasta salad with broccoli, shrimp, pineapple, red pepper, and green onion. :)
Whole wheat pita with spinach, garlicky mushrooms, egg sprinkled with paprika and baked in the oven.

Heh, this thread cracks me up. Here's my contribution: chicken and spinach with rice and peas. And no, I'm afraid it's not wholegrain rice :cry:
