I squat tomorrow. Going for 155 I believe? Man, my number would look gloriously higher if I wasn't such a chunkster.

I'm rehabbing a mild left quad injury, so super duper hardcore squat 'till ya puke is out at the moment. :) Still, I'm very happy to be squatting again. Yesterday was my second week back under the bar.

    Squats: 315 3x10
    RDL: 405 2x10

That looks like one hell of a workout! At least you were able to drive home....I think if I tried BW x 200 reps, I'd need to be driven home. In a hearse.

    Today was:

    BSQ: 2x4x145, 3x205, 2x275, 1x295, 1x315, 1x335, 1x355
BSQ (negatives): 385, 395, 405 each supersetted with 5 box jumps

And then 36 more reps among near bodyweight kneeling squat jumps, jump squats, and vertical jumps.

It was nice to get a feel for eight plates on my back. Hopefully I can squat it in another month or so. :spaz:

    Mine

Having done this or that incorrectly re: proper squat form for years, it was good getting the form down finally over the last 6 months. Makes it far more enjoyable playing with different squat workouts!

Started out with 3x5s, moved to 4 high volume sets, then recently moved to 5x5 (on 2nd week). so...

    5x45
    5x45
    4x95
    3x135

    5x215
    5x215
    5x215
    5x215
    5x215

Followed this up with leg extensions and RDL sets.

    My squats today (in kilograms)

    Front Squat
    10x20, 8x40, 5x60 | 2x3x80

    Back Squat
    17x100

The back squats were done with no pause for the first 7 reps, a breath or two for the next 3 and then breathing squat style for the last seven. Then I was hit with a crippling exertion/low carb headache that ended my workout. :curses: I would have easily had 20 reps on the back squat.

    And the sequel:

    BSQ: 2x4x155, 3x225, 2x275, 1x305, 1x325, 1x345, 1x365
    NEG BSQ: 395, 405, 415, 425 supersetted with BJ: 4, 4, 4, 4
    SP BSQ: 2x5x135
    JSQ: 2x5x45 (shallow depth)

I'm feeling pretty explosive at this point. The supersetted box jumps were on a box that comes up to somewhere within the space of my glutes. I just barely had to bend my knees to land on it. Since most box sets come in 6" intervals, it's probably a 30" one, which means I've shown definite improvement in my vert, which is nice to see.

I need to get my posterior chain much stronger again after I'm finished with this program though. :curses:
