    I have been pulling deads for about a year now, give or take a month off due to injury. A few things I can definitely say: (1) my butt is much higher up that before, (2) my lats are noticably thicker, (3) my legs are much learner and more muscular, plus I have a lot more stamina in other areas of life. My cholesterol numbers, especially my terribly low HDL, have not improved much except that my total cholesterol has come down, but I attribute that to increased aerobic execise as well.

    Not great. Just didn't feel strong today. I have not gotten a good nights sleep since Saturday. Off next week, maybe the rest will help.

    Felt much better today. I really focused on form. I realized last week that I was not keeping my head up, which leads to all sorts of problems.

    Missed 660 for the fourth time in the past two months and then did 23x420. I pull 4 plates like it's nothing, but once I get around six plates it gets heavy as heck.

    Adrenaline release. I'm so desensitized to the jug that it barely does anything. Caps are very potent, but I only break those out for maxes or meets. Basically once you've used caps, nothing comes close.

    I like to try some of that stuff,

    Just looking at your journal Pete because i recognised your user name. Awesome deadlift!

    Just got back in the game in Oct. Current DL PR is 418. I done it for 2 singles last week.

    Anyhow, i don't usually deadlift on Wedesday's!:)

    I'll join in here to now that I got my deadlifts started.
    Not wednesdays but here goes (in kg, but I'll convert them)

    Deadlifts 4 x 10/10/8/1 x 63/103/123/143kg (new PR)

    10x63kg (10x138.6)
    10x103kg (10x226.6)
    8x123kg (8x270.6)
    1x143kg (1x314.6)

    Goal is to reach 200kg by the end of the year, wich will be 440 lbs judging by the online converter I use:bb:
