The Bench Day Thread

    Ok so we now have a squat and deadlift day, thought I'd do a bench day as well! Throw your bench workouts up here!

    Just when I quit benching.

    I'm bored, and the push press is much more interesting and not boring.

    I'm subscribing to this thread though. Always interesting to see people progress.

    We have a deadlift day? I thought that was only if you deadlifted on Wed. :lol: I bench on Wed.....

    Haha I put all my deadlift workouts in it, I think it was decided sometime around the third page that the day doesn't matter as much as the deadlifting.

    I'm benching today. It'll be quite embarrassing throwing my numbers in amongst the big guns though... :o:violin:

    I thought so too, but some people suggested putting your bigger deadlift workouts in from other days.

    I had bench yesterday:

    3x30x10/8/6 - dumbbell bench

    (30kg is about 65lbs)

    I benched yesterday, but after my Vegas vacation and almost two weeks of not benching at all - my endurance was pitiful and weak.:cry:

    I'll post next weeks workout.

    heh....sometimes I like to think I have a decent amount of strength, but I don't think I'll be comparing my Wilk's score to yours anytime soon. :nope: :mad:

    Damn, I knew it was going to happen! I didn't know what a Wilks score even was until I just looked it up. I still don't know what a good one is. Absolute strength>relative strength IMHO.

    Heh...well, honestly, we're very close on squats and deads, even though you are a good 40 pounds lighter!
