I know there are a few of us who have gotten past 500 now, and a few lurkers who are above that mark as well, so I thought I'd throw this up so we have a new goal to work towards.

Post your current numbers and I'll add you to the list.

    List:
    Big_D: 575
    zenpharaohs: 500(hooks)
betastas : 501.5 Conventional Belt only 176.5lb BW
    humphries 525

My main method of improving my DL is going to be my squatting, so we'll see how it goes.

I'm going to start training the sumo alongside the conventional for a few months, as well as work on speed pulls.

My 22nd-24th reps of a 5x5x5x3x3x3 (started at 445) was 495# which is 15lbs away from my last 1RM... Im projecting 530 for my next 1RM which will be next week.

And how about everyone in here getting video of their 1RM and making this club that much sweeter?

    New DL vid coming Wed.

This is my current strategy... I stopped training my DL regularly except for some speed pulls in various routines. I'll see how the no(read minimal) deadlift deadlift training works out here before too long. I know the main thing limiting me has been hamstring strength which I've been working hard to bring up. I kept frying my CNS on DLs and my strength would start to go down. It was driving me nuts. GL hitting 600 all:D I don't think I'll the earliest I'd be hitting it is a year from now and that is injury free:lol: (fat chance).

Big_D are you doing a lot of glute ham raises and good mornings and such as well to bump up your squats?
