    That's 8/8/8/5 x 220, right? Not 2560 reps? :eek: :lol:

    // Your notation is odd. ;)

    times the reps times the reps times the reps. :lol:

    e.g.

    3 x 3 x 225

    3 set of 3 or 2 sets of 3? (Normally the former.)

    Notation is usually additive and multiplicative with delimiters denoting the former and "x" only denoting the latter (when it is used).

    "3 x 225, 3 x 225" = 3 x 225 + 3 x 225 => 2 sets of 3 with 225
    "3, 3 x 225" = (3 + 3) x 225 = 3 x 225 + 3 x 225 => 2 sets of 3 with 225
    "3/3 x 225" = (3 + 3) x 225 = 3 x 225 + 3 x 225 => 2 sets of 3 with 225
    "3 x 3 x 225" = (3 x 3) x 225 = (3 + 3 + 3) x 225 => 3 sets of 3 with 225

    etc.

    This is so that meaning is easy and transparent and volume can be quickly noted.

    OK, I'm in.

    I'm oficially stating my desire to join this club.

    I've only deadlifted heavy (to me) like 4 or 5 times. But it was in reps of 5. I've not dead lifted for about 2 weeks. I've never "maxed out" so honestly I have no idea when I'll reach my goal.

    1st max attempt will be on 1/1/2009....(hangover or not):lol:

    Just posted in the 225 Squat club. Guess it makes sense to join a deadlift challenge too. Challenge is the right word considering my best lifts so far:

    Last workout:

    5x78kg(171lbs)
    5x80kg(176lbs)
    5x82kg(180lbs)

    Ok, now I can really claim to belong to this club. The following is a much better lift.
