The 1400 Pound Club

    With 2009 right around the corner, this seems like a good goal for those of us who have already surpassed a 1000 pound total in the big three. I don't know my numbers as of now, but I will update within the next few weeks.

    Raw, no belt, straps, etc.

    Conventional Deadlift: 482.5
    Full Squat: 382.5
    Bench Press: 237.5

    *Rounding that off, you get an 1100 pound total.
    *I'm no longer concentrating on bench press, but jerks and olympic movements instead. I think I'll just replace bench press with jerks from here on out on my quest for a 1400 pound total.

    Raw, eh? OK

    475# deadlift
    420# squat
    275# bench

    1170# total

    I never maxed my squat yet, and I probably can get a few more pounds on the dead than when I did that 475# raw. But I've been near these numbers for a while; I don't see 1400# any day soon. 1300# maybe, but that might be optimistic.

    1400lbs...well let's see.

    Bench I'm at around 230 most likely, 415lbs or so for squat, and for deadlift a lowly 385lbs. That puts me at 1030. 500lbs squat is my goal for May, 300lbs bench the same time period, so that'd put me at 1100, and hopefully my deadlift will be, at say, 450lbs, so that'd get me to 1250. So this club is, even in May, still about 150lbs away best case scenario. Well, 2009 still seems like a possibility.
