Well after over a month off im back doing weights again!
But I could do with someone clearing something up about a few things:

Yesterday I did legs - front squats, romanian deadlifts and DB calf raises.

now I felt the workout about an hour after, and now im all sore on my legs...but im also sore on my biceps.

would this be because of deadlifts? or just because I havent lifted in a while so picking up the weights my arms are getting worked?

And last question, today is chest and bicep day. if my biceps are sore from yesterdays should I swap say abs with biceps so the routine is like so:

    # Tue - Legs
    # Wed - Chest / Abs
    # Thur - Rest
    # Fri - Back / Triceps
    # Sat - Shoulders / Bicep
    # Sun - Rest
    # Mon - Rest

Any suggestions will be much appreciated :)

Deadlifts make me sore just about everywhere except biceps. I'd imagine your DOMS are from either just racking weights, time off from lifting, or (likliest) a combination of both.

I'd move Triceps to Chest day and Biceps to Back day or Shoulders to Back day and have a Biceps/Triceps day.

Great job getting back into the gym! :tucool:

After a month layoff, just about anything might be a little sore. Any of those involve the bi's in at least a minor way.

    Thanks alot guys.

Reason I stopped was because my shoulder was hurting when doing exercise, and after a weeks break it didnt stop so I left over a months rest to heal.

It seems fine now though, and im enjoying exercising again.

And this time Im doing things much better such as my form, and ive just had a good days work on my chest.

    thanks for replies guys :D
