It was Choppie. Deja has a more descriptive recap of our time in the gym in one of her journals.

Sounds like a great weekend. I'm sure Deja had a great time, and I'm jealous that you got to work out with/around her. Too funny about our resident culinary expert only toasting her a bagel.

The irony of not cooking for her was not lost on me. That's about to change tonight.

Not so fast young lady. See above. :)

    Update

Since I spent the day in the presence of Deja I'm felling stronger, probably through some osmosis type transfer, so there was no need to do gripper work or any other exercise today. :D That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

We're going to be quite the crowd tonight because dear daughter and a friend are cooking for four of their friends. They offered to make some extra for us, but I'd never hear the end of it if the only home cooked meal Deja got while here was done by dear daughter, so I'm making a parallel dinner.

    This has some potential.

A "parallel dinner"? Is that something like a square meal?

As I wrote before, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;)

Seriously people let Deja into your home and you will be able to spend time with a generous, thoughtful, and fun person who is a great guest (there's an limit to the adjectives I can use in one sentence or I'd go on). Dead serious about this so no silly smilies.

That's what happens when you stay up to 3 AM with her. You're rewarded with additional days. :D

Choppie, I'm used to it. I live with teenagers and although I earlier wrote that five were coming over for dinner tonight it turned out to be six. Do you really think that can Deja intimidate me after that?

The Sunday School teacher in you is coming out. :) :tucool: I have a lot of educators in my family and it's a profession I really respect.

Not only could I not have Deja's only home cooked meal made by dear daughter, but having us at the table with all the kids would have infringed upon the teenagers' time so I cooked a meal that I planned to do earlier. Nothing fancy, just everyday fare. What I mean by the previous phrase is that although it was a chaotic night here, especially for a Monday with dear daughter's friends, which turned out great, and I had a guest, I wanted Deja to experience a dinner that was a normal family weekday menu.

To the comma police I know that the above paragraph is a travesty. I'm tired, but wanted to post.

    Good night.

Today's normally a cardio day, but wifey wants to run tomorrow and I don't like running two days in a row so I may hit the gym. Regardless of what I decide it won't be happening until the late morning.

    Have a great day!

    :ohnoes:No JSF!!! :scared:

Now that the world is back to normal I can write that I went for a short 3 mile run earlier today. I'm hoping to get wifey to do six tomorrow and if all goes well also get an early morning workout done at the gym.

Imelda, it was full and fun. Great descriptive and I (hope) don't think we bored my young single friend with the goings on in the Seltzer household the past few days.

Having nothing to do with Deja, I was short on sleep last night, so tonight's going to be the catch up one.

My day is complete now...JSF is back:tu: I hated not checking in on everyone when I was in Mexico...just shows you how addicted to this damn website I am. Glad things are back to normal now.

I was short on sleep as well....must of been something in the air. Heres to a good night sleep tonight!

Kree, I had a good night's sleep and a properly functioning JSF....all is fine.

Yesterday I mistakenly wrote that I was going for a six mile run with wifey today. I don't know what I was thinking as we'll be doing about 3.5 today and the bigger run on Saturday. Our run today will be done around 3 o'clock. On Saturday my goal is to run an additional six after wifey's six for a total of twelve.

    Have a great day!
