Wimpy exercise for the day was taking dear dog for a three mile walk.

Dinner last night was hamburgers, air fried French fries, and a garden salad. No cooking tonight because wifey and I are meeting friends for dinner at a local Indian restaurant and then going to a concert.

    TGIF!

A three mile walk is good.

I went to a restaurant near my office, it was the first place that I ever saw have "air fried" french fries on the menu.

My brother in law has the same car you bought, it is probably about a year old. They like it.

Everybody I know who has owned or currently owns a Subaru likes their car and that was an influence in my decision making process.

I've never seen air fried French fries on a restaurant menu; as far as my taste buds are concerned the ones I make at home are tasty and I don't miss the additional oil.

    Update

Don't tell my boss :D, but I took a portion of the afternoon off and spun vinyl. Beatles, Stones, Yesterday and Today, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Allman Brothers, and Rory Gallagher. Nothing too mellow and I'm now in the mood for tonight's live concert.

A very solid workout to start the weekend. Three superset rounds of:

Bosu ball burpees and squat presses
    Bench dips and mountain climbers
Ball slams and trap bar deadlifts
    Planks and V-ups
Box step ups with Db presses and something else that alludes me

Afterward I ran a mile. :ohnoes:

Lots of fun last night at dinner and the concert with friends. No cooking tonight because we're going to a friend's b'day party.

    Have a great day!

    Four super set rounds of:

Kb one arm deadlifts and Kb sumo squats
    Russian twists and Bicycles
Squats while pressing a long pole with weights and Two arm Kb swings
Sledge hammer swings against a tire and Ball slams against a wall
Kb burpees and Bosu ball knee thrursts

We had a fun time at the party last night, more due our friends than the venue. See and be seen scene, small food portions, mediocre drink pours at inflated prices and, IMO lousy music. Guess who won't be going back any time soon?

Most likely not cooking tonight because we're going to my MIL's for what will likely be an early dinner at one of her favorite restaurants.

    Have a great day!

You nailed it as that's where we went. LOL! The one on Linwood Ave.

    Update

A less than stellar workout this morning. Three rounds of:

Planks with a 25 pound plate on my back
    Standing Db shoulder presses
    Single arm Db bench rows
    Db lateral raises
    Standing Bb curls
    Ab wheel rollouts
    Leg raises

No cooking last night, but unless something changes, which I doubt, I'll be in the kitchen tonight.

Today is my father's birthday; were he alive he would have been 86 and I went to his grave to wish him a happy birthday. He's buried with my mother and right next to my paternal grandparents so I spent time with all of them.

    Have a great day!

Went for a one mile run this morning and this afternoon I'll take dear dog for a walk.

Dinner last night was boneless chicken thighs cooked in a zesty lemon garlic sauce and served with brown rice.

    Have a great day.

I take it as a good sign you started running again.

Thanks and your interpretation is correct; it is a good sign. How far and my pace will be determined by how I hold up, but I plan to take a conservative approach and build from there.

    Update

Went on two mile walk this morning and will probably take dear dog for a walk this afternoon.

Dinner last night was cod fillets encrusted with panko bread crumbs and lemon zest and the side was corn.

    Have a great day!

Thanks. I've been there a few times for dinner and music and I'll speak with wifey later today to see about going. One funny-ish anecdote. When dear son, who is now 24, was in middle school Ruthie's sponsored raffles for a free pizza at charity events that were student vs. teacher basketball games. Out of hundreds of entries, dear son won two years in a row, both 6th and 7th grade.

    Update

I was going to run this morning, but decided to walk instead. Three miles with dear dog.

Dinner last night was vegetarian. Spaghetti squash, red bell pepper, onion, scallions, and snow peas served with a combination of soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, garlic, honey, and hot sauce.

    Have a great day!
