Possibly, but fear of having to walk the plank makes me too timid to ask about the rationale behind the decision. :-)

    Thanks.

A fun time last night albeit a later than usual evening. That we, in theory, could get an extra hour of sleep, did not play out in reality because dear dog didn't get the memo. I'm sure most dog owners can relate.

    Four rounds this morning of:

    Kb Russian twists
Kb burpees with a push up
    Kb squats
Db farmers walks with forward lunges
    Punches while hold DB's
    Pistol squats
    Heavy ropes

    Have a great day.

    Three rounds this morning of:

    Trap bar dead lifts
    Flat bench Bb presses
    TRX table top rows
Bosu ball push ups with knee thrusts
    Db curls
    Planks

Dinner last night was chicken leg quarters seasoned with Old Bay and the side was string beans.

    Have a great day!

I walked about three miles today with a brief stop to vote.

I was planning on cooking last night, but wifey called in the afternoon to tell me she was bringing home leftovers from a Diwali at work so we enough for dinner, for me and dear son to have lunch today and there's still a little left.

    Have a great day!

I probably should know this and it seems familiar but what is a Diwali? An Indian holiday comes to mind but that isn't work related.

Diwali is an Indian (not Native American) festival of lights. Wifey's department has a lot of folks from the country so they host an annual party.

    Update

Exercise for the day was walking three miles. Other time in the day was taken up getting about two hours of scans of various body parts. I haven't written about it before, but my most recent blood work indicated that I may have some liver and kidney issues and my doctors are concerned about the sudden fall I had at the beginning of September. I'll know the results of today's scans next week and on Friday I'm having a brain scan done which relates to the fall. I've been fine since the one episode, but my doctors want me to have it done so I will.

On a lighter note, dinner last night was shrimp with a spicy tomato sauce and corn.

    Have a great day!

I've done nothing with regard to exercise yet, but will do some push ups and planks this afternoon.

Dinner last night was pork chops in a paprika cream sauce with sides of pasta and a salad.

My brain scan is scheduled for 1:30 tomorrow afternoon. I'll be driving about 45 minutes each way so that I can go to an upright truly open MRI instead of going less than ten minutes to the imaging place that I had yesterday's scans done. Worth every minute not to have to get in a tube, which has never turned out well for me.

    Have a great day.

Good luck with the scan, and for good results on that scan, and the ones you took already.

Hopefully all this testing is for naught. Sending positive vibes for good results.

Thank you. I just got the results from my carotid arteries scan and everything was fine. So, so far so good.

    Update

I'm mildly dreading my upcoming MRI and took dear dog on a walk to relieve some tension. It wasn't too helpful, but at worst I won't be totally sedentary today.

Dinner last night was a chuck roast that had in sous vide bath for eleven hours and then sliced very thin. I served it with an onion gravy and cole slaw. The texture of the meat was equivalent to a filet mignon, but tastier and, of course, much less expensive. An added bonus was that I got to use three kitchen tools, my sous vide machine, my immersion blender, and my electric slicer. Nerdy??? Yes!

Dear daughter and her BF are coming here for the weekend. I'm going to try and stay up until they arrive, which will be on the wrong side of 11 PM and possibly closer to midnight.

    TGIF!

    Three rounds this morning of:

    Explosive step ups with Db's
    Ball slams against a wall
    Ab wheel rollouts
    Leg raises
    Agility exercises
Push ups with a Db drag across your body
    Kb goblet squats
    Ball slams to the floor

After each round we did jumping jacks, reverse lunges, and sideway lunges.

I got through my MRI yesterday and will likely know the results of it and the other tests I took last week sometime next week.

    Dinner last night was leftovers.

    Have a great day!

    Three rounds this morning of:

    Elephant walk outs
    Kb two arm swings
    Kb deadlifts
Db curls on a Bosu ball
    Forward box runs

No cooking last night because we were very full from our late lunch (early dinner) at my MIL's house.

    Have a great day!

Starting from a standing position you start as you would with a regular walk out, meaning you put your palms to the floor while keeping your feet planted and for these use your arms to extend your body as far as you can and use your arms to bring you back to the starting position.

    Update

I'll be at the gym in a couple of hours and will report back after that.

Dinner last night was smoked chicken thighs with tri color cous cous.

    Have a great day!

I'm feeling a bit beat up today so I might make it a rest day, taking the less is more approach. I may change my mind when the afternoon comes.

Dinner last night was braised brisket in a red wine and tomato sauce with a side of sautéed green beans.

    Have a great day!

I wound up going for a walk yesterday and today was a sedentary day.

Dinner last night was baked chicken thighs and the side was roasted Brussel sprouts.

    Happy Felix Unger Day! :-)

I went for a two mile walk with dear dog. Meh.

I'm still waiting to hear about most of my test results from the procedures that were done last week; it's not looking as if I'll have any info today so I'm hoping for tomorrow.

Dinner last night was shrimp and grits.

    Have a great day!
