    Nice ride report. Congrats on a PR.

    Out of curiosity, what was the winners finishing time? Do you know how far from the end did the leaders break from the lead pack? Just trying to understand road cycling strategy a little better.

    This was a ride, not a race, so we were not chipped or officially timed. I finished with the lead group of about 15 riders, so we all had the same time. There were no successful breakways on this ride (a couple of attempts, but we shut them down pretty quickly).

    Okay. That makes sense. im used to running where they tend to be races but only a few are really competitive and have a chance of winning.
