    Hi all...

I am really getting into the weight training part of my transformation and I have a question. Are there certain muscle groups that should be worked together? For instance, is it okay to work the bicepts and tricepts on the same day or should you work the opposing muscles on different days? Like Monday I worked my bi's, tri's, stomach, lower back, and chest and then on Wednesday I worked by delts, forearms, shoulders, stomach, and chest again. My weight training days are Mon-Wed-Fri and my cardio is on Tue-Thu-Sat.

    Hi,
with your three day split, i would certainly reccommend:

    1. Chest/Delt/Tri
    2. Back/Bi/Traps
    3. Legs

This keeps 'interacting' muscle groups together and gives them the maximum recovery time between workouts.
Try not to work your abdominals more that two/three times per week.

quick post, but i'm starving and need to eat, lol
