If well if we're going to have a bench thread, then we're going to have a pulling thread.
The day in pulls:
EDIT: I was concentrating on using the voice recognition to make the journal entry I short sheeted my lat pull downs.
Pendlay Rows: warmups, 1x5@215, 1x5@235, 1x5@260, 4x5@275
Bodyweight Pullups: 16
Weighted Chins: 3x5@45
Pete you're a fricking manimal.
When I started the thread the one thing I did expect was something like that from him.
Ahhh pulling...my favorite.
BB bent rows:
Single arm long bar rows: not including bar weight
EZ bar bent arm pullovers:
2x10 w/ 70lb DB
Chest supported row
1 arm DB row
Shitty workout yesterday
Kroc rows 125lb dumbells 2x20
Something to put in the journal...
Damn Joe, that's some serious pulling!
its sad when ur hounding URSELF to start a journal.
Thanks -- I've worked harder on pulling exercises in the last two years than almost anything else. For years I had chronic shoulder pain and inflexibility, and am now convinced it is because my push/pull ratio sucked. Since upping my pulling strength, my shoulders are 100% pain free!
What are you deadlifting Joe?
These days I only do conventional deads sporadically, with most of my deadlifting being in the form of RDL on leg day. I can RDL 455 x 8 reps. My best conventional dead is 585. I hit that about a year ago.
Pendlay Row warmup 2x5 45
warmup 1x5 75
warmup 1x3 100
warmup 1x2 120
working sets 5x3 145
Damn Joe- I went in today wanting to beat your +70 for 2x10, but I did 10,5. You're heavier and you add more weight!
yeah, but you are 40 pounds lighter and are beating my best deadlift And, you are on the verge of beating my weighted pullups
"Game Day" with Power Snatches
