I can't say that I really agree with that, I lived in the country until I was about 16, then in a small town and since I was born we've had three Labradors, one at a time. Even while we lived in the country the dogs were all kept inside and taken out when needed or to play and run around the yard. The dogs were never unsupervised, though time to time they would bring back a groundhog, but the solution to a little blood and guts was the hose and some shampoo. Regardless of where you are, a dog should be inside with its owners all the time and be part of the family. It almost makes me angry to see people own an animal just to leave it outside, tied up, or secluded in someway. If you can't have the dog inside, don't have the dog.

but anyway, to get back to the topic at hand... I present Java! Our third lab!

Here's my "big boy"! He's a 13 month old pure English Mastiff named Titus. The last time he was weighed was almost 8 months ago. He was 85 lbs then. I'm guessing he's close to 150 now. We spend almost as much for food and treats for him as we do for my family of 3! I love coming home from work and wrestling with my son and him.

Sorry if the pic quality is really low...I've only got a 2MP! Hey...it was pretty nice 6 years ago!

Here's Lexi. I've had her for about 4 days now but she's the nicest dog. She never barks and loves to play.

I couldnt agree more...It kind of anoys me when people keep dogs outdoors as if they are some type of novelty they play with now and then.

Of couse this is coming from someone who is a hardcore dog lover and spares no expense when it comes to my baby!!

Found a 5 week feral kitten with burnt paws inside a car at my dad's dealership.

Three weeks later and he is on mend enough to play

Such a cute little bugger. He got sick of 5x5 bathroom fast and now is quarantined in a larger 20x15 which he loves. Slowest introduction in world yet my twelve year old female is as nasty as ever through the babygate. Females, sigh, this poor boy is oblivious to her anger, this will get interesting soon.
