Can I live with you?
In this regard you're in the same situation as any other college student who is about to graduate. Yes, for a determinate amount of time your mobility and other options will be limited, but after that you'll have much more latitude to move.
sure! we have a nice harry potter closet you could fit into if ya shrunk a couple inches.
1x1, 1x2, 1x3 50kg
1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4 40kg
Recently when I go to the gym I get frustrated when I can't do the exercises I want to and just leave. I've no lectures next week so my goal is to fit in at least one morning workout where overcrowding won't be an issue
That would frustrate me to no end. I try to time my gym visits so that I avoid peak hours.
Once upon a time I'd just make the best of it but thats just another skill I seem to have lost. I even pushed back todays workout to as late as possible (10pm) but there was still a few lifters about
Mornings are usually really quiet so some morning next week when I have a full belly and an empty gym I'll see what I can get done
1x1, 1x2, 1x3 120kg
1x1 1x2 2x3 50kg
I've never pressed 50kg in my life but I could do it for reps today. Evidently being a cretinous slob has its upsides
EDIT: Also I saw Zulu again over the weekend. What a movie
Thanks again everyone for the support - things are getting better in Niallytown. As I mentioned once I finish college and get work I'll start hitting the gym regularly
As for now all I can really do is eat cheap calories and try not to forget what the inside of the gym looks like
My bench press seems to do well if I do it after squats or deads. Maybe I shouldn't have given up on starting strength so quickly
1x5, 3x3 55kg
1x1, 1x2, 6x3 50kg
College is going well. I've handed in my last two projects on Wednesday so I'm now focused on the final exams and getting my dissertation finished
way to go pgt..... keep working hard and it'll soon be ovah!!!
Yeah hopefully I'll do alright - once I'm settled after the exams I'll post up the some end of year strength goals for myself
I should probably mess around with bodyshop some more also
I need to mess around more with bodyshop too.
My only problem with Bodyshop is that I have to post twice. I'll have to make up my mind sometime and decide which one to use.
I actually have an idea for a cool new feature for bodyshop (not the one I just posted downstair - thats just groundwork)
The idea is kind of ready but I want to be able to present it properly which means a few more hours of work to make look good so I'll have it finished in a few days....

1x5 5 plates
5x3 6 plates
1x5, 1x6, 1x8 40kg
I actually had doms over the weekend over the 14 working rep squat session on Saturday
DOMS my legs are affecting my sleep. I may need to start taking pain killers before bed.
1x5 4 plates
1x5 5 plates
5x5 6 plates
I think I'm getting a cold or something. The leg press is coming along nicely
My diet these days pretty much entirely consists of white bread, milk, eggs and cereal
By the end of the year I want a 85kg squat, a 160kg deadlift, and a 60kg bench press.
Historically speaking these would be a +5kg PR, an old PR and a 'never tried before' PR
I guess these could be considered goals or something...
1x1, 2x3 50kg
I tried full squatting today since the free stand in front of the mirror was free and the racks were taken. Things didn't go as well as I though they would
I'm going to switch back to box squats for a while just to keep my depth honest
My pressing continues to go upward which is welcome considering my history of crap pressing strength
Considering my last 1rm attempt was a pitiful 130kg this is a good step forward
I followed gaz's advice in Foley's journal and kept my hips from descending too much - I think it helped
End of year goal: 1x1 160kg
Wooo! Nice pull buddy
Thanks euan, its a little depressing working back to pulling something I pulled 18 months ago but I've only myself to blame for letting things slide
