OK so that completes Week One, in which I tracked my daily stats with no changes in my nutrition plan or medication intake.
In Week Two, I will add in 500mg Metformin daily (for blood sugar control) but make no pre-meditated changes to my nutrition plan.
I will also begin to add weight training exercises and possibly some additional cardio-vascular exercise.
I am going today to get signed up, and plan to work out there on Wednesday and Friday morning this week.
Monday April 23 - Day 8
167.6 lbs @ 18.05 bfa
Tuesday April 24 - Day 9
167.6 lbs @ 17.75 bfa
Still haven't been to the gym...
... but I'm playing golf with M@ today.
It was awesome.
For the record: Phil is the leanest I've ever seen him. He looks fit AF.
Well... it's a good news/bad news kind of day.
Bad news is that I've gained about eight pounds since the end of April. And of that, about seven pounds of it is pure fat.
Good news is that yesterday was my last day at Amazon... I've been rehired (full time, year round) at the Inn where I worked last summer.
No more hour long commute (each way) to work... in fact, I will be able to ride my bike (2.5 miles each way).
No more mind-numbing repetitive labor... in fact, a big part of the job will be baking cookies / folding towels / taking care of the dogs (three).
And much better control of my time... while I will be working six days a week, the hours are better for me to actually get things done.
Of course, one of the things I plan to do is get back to some kind of fitness routine... and start paying more attention to the things I eat.
I start the new job in two weeks... plenty of time to get things figured out. So stay tuned...
Congrats on the new job Phil.
The first line makes the second line more difficult to do.
Congratulations on the new job. A short bike ride sounds like a great commute.
Congratulations on the new job.
Congrats on the new job. Sounds like a pretty sweet gig!
Phil's burying the lead: He'll be playing golf this Friday with me.
Also, gratz on the new gig.
Phil and M@, enjoy your time together.
It's a bromance.
M@ lies like a bad rug... we're playing golf next Wednesday (ok... we moved the date because of potential weather issues).
Congrats on the new job!
Glad we did, too: It's a mess out there today.
...and there's a chance that I could have a new set of custom-fit clubs by Wednesday.
