No Missed Workouts in January

    The routine resumes--my cold is mostly gone. 60 minutes of moderate-intensity cardio today, felt pretty good.

    Today's workout: done.
    Workouts complete: 12/15
    Workouts to go: 6

    greg-- i just wasnt sure who you go see for a muscle issue. Dr/Chiro/ etc. and i do know what you mean about first starting at a gym.

    Looked at my schedule this morning, and decided to make today my rest day for the week. My rest day WOULD have been Sunday, so I just won't rest then. Not counting it as a miss unless I miss Sunday. Which I won't.

    Killer leg workout this morning. Heavy Bulgarian split squats, walking lunges, ham curls and calf raises. I'll be sore tomorrow....

    Anybody interested in another "No Missed Workouts" thread for February? I'm looking forward to a month where there are no holidays to throw off my schedule, and where I (hopefully) don't get sick and miss 3 days! Plus, I've got a MyoTape on order and I'm anxious to use it to set another 1" waistline loss goal...

    Starting to feel run down from the caloric deficit and heavy schedule. One more to go (if I can make it!) and then the weekend!

    Nice going, BJD77!

    As I thought, I had to bow out of today's workout (my final for the month). The combination of consistent, hard work, eating at a deficit, getting up early to work out, and a lingering cold had me feeling worse by the day. I finally realized that my body needed a break. So no workout today--that makes my month-end total 17 out of 21 (with no cheat meals!). I'm quite happy with that, especially given the progress I made this month. I lost probably 1.5" from my waistline, and about 8 pounds. I'm finally getting back to a point where I'm starting to look pretty good.

    I will be updating my stats and avatar on Sunday, and ready to go on the "No Missed Workouts in February" challenge on Monday. See you there!

    Darn I didn't start this when I should have with all of you, but I would like to say that i had 19 planned workouts for the month (M,T,Thur,F, Su) and I didn't miss one of them. This might be the first time in a loooong time that's ever happened. I hope to be able to do the same thing in February!

    Sorry I haven't been updating every day. I haven't missed a workout, but I've been insanely busy with school and haven't been to the site since my last update.

    Today was 12/12. I'm in for another round in February, as long as you're okay with sporadic updates from me; winter quarter's always the busiest for me.
