    I messed up my update yesterday. I had only done my first planned eight not nine, so i edited my last post, too. Still, not a single workout missed!

    I have missed two workouts - Sunday and Monday - and there's a chance I might miss today's as I'm sick at home today from work. We'll see how I feel. I'm trying to eat clean throughout the day and drink a bunch of water and see if it helps me feel better by the afternoon to go lift.

    You're not alone, Speedster. My problem is not illness at this time, it's overtraining, I think. I did some intervals yesterday on the elliptical and wound up feeling kind of ill the rest of the day. And that's after a full two days off!

    Time to change things around, I think. If I can't do four measly 15-second bursts in a 20 minute elliptical workout (albeit after 30 minutes of fairly heavy lifting), something's wrong.

    I think I've cut long enough. Since December 1, I've gone from 180 to 160 and knocked a couple of inches off my waistline. I just measured my BF% at around 12%. That's great progress, as far as I'm concerned, but since I don't have the same precisely-measured approach that the serious fitness devotees have, I have felt "off" a lot of the time.

    When fitness gets in the way of one's general sense of well-being, it's time to re-assess. I'm taking a couple of days off, then laying off the cardio for the time being, while eating a bit more and hitting the weights harder. Time to bulk.

    And since I'm going to re-do my workout schedule, I'm bowing out of the challenge for this month. Good luck to you all, and I'll see you around.

    jdb, yes, 20 workouts in 28 days looks difficult to me.
    Set new goals and come back! :)

    Just finished my twelfth and final workout this month. 12/12! Actually, no workouts missed since new year! :)
