No Missed Workouts in December

    Tuesday's cardio workout: done (1230+ calories!)
    I'm 12 for 12 in December. I've done all my scheduled workouts so far. 11 more to go.

    Thursday's cardio workout: done. I think I hit a new record for calories burned--1268 calories in 60 minutes!!

    I'm 14 for 14 in December. I've done all my scheduled workouts so far. 9 more to go.

    Friday's resistance & cardio workouts: done.

    I'm 15 for 15 in December. I've done all my scheduled workouts so far.

    I'm deciding in advance that I won't be making up the day I'll miss on Christmas. So, only 7 more workouts to go.

    6/8 check. X-mas week I was advised to take off so thats 3 less workouts.

    Well, I'm out. I got a bad cold that felt like the flu and missed a whole week of working out. I haven't missed this much time from the gym since last May. I'll be back at it tomorrow though! Good luck to you all finishing this challenge.

    Monday's resistance + cardio workout: done

    Was a bit worried about getting this AM's workout in--my wife and I had to deal with one of daughters being sick in the middle of the night. And...I was feeling crappy after unfortunately eating terribly this weekend. ^%&#)$^) Christmas cookies!

    I'm 16 for 16 in December. I've done all my scheduled workouts so far. 6 more to go.

    Ugh...

    Everything fell apart Monday night.

    Kids up sick, so I couldn't work out Tuesday AM. Was hoping to go Tuesday night, but between the weather (yay for Midwest US snowstorms...) and sick kids and Christmas gift wrapping, it was a no go. Okay, I think, maybe Wednesday AM.

    Nope, it was my turn to get sick Tuesday night. Aches, chills, bleah. Christmas Eve day was spent in bed under the merciful influence of Tylenol-PM. I started to feel better by the evening, when my wife gets sick. So, Christmas day was a bit of a downer. I'm almost better now, my wife's recovering, but it'll be Monday before I can work out again.

    The one bright side of all this: having missed eating for a day and a half, I dropped a few pounds and now have surpassed my target weight for the month! :p I know that's not how it's supposed to be done, but it was funny, nonetheless.

    man sorry to hear that. what a bummer. congrats on reaching ur target goal weight for the month. :tucool:

    i feel like i'm catching something too. :blank:

    maybe this challenge is cursed. :spaz:

    I missed 2 out of 3 workouts this week because of illness.
    I completed today's workout and am back on track.

    my last workouts of the month were going to be 1rm tests but i have a touch of the flu and have major body exhaustion so i don't think that's gonna happen.

    i will definitely get in some sort of last workout or two though. :tucool:

    Heh--I've felt cursed for the last week or so. On the same day, I squished a pinky finger in the weight room, and that evening, my wife cuts her thumb badly while getting dinner ready. Then we all get sick, we start getting water in the basement, and yesterday, I slipped on some ice on my driveway and got banged up. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!

    Well, today I got to the Y and did my weights and cardio--felt great, since I'm no longer ill, and have had several days off training. That makes me 17/20 for the month, with 2 more workouts to go.
