Muscle Beach

    Dave do you still have those huge legs? Are you still kayaking?

    We have 4 girls staying Thurs through Mon. This place is hectic. I didnt get to the gym today. I am having trouble typing on this netbook my duaghter brought me.

    Eating bas been okahy today. I intend to have a few extra carbs. Maybe I will get to workout this weekend.

    I stopped lifting to focus on kayaking. I now realise that they can complement one another quite nicely for explosive power. Legs are still pretty big and strong just not as lean as they were!

    Hopefully you'll get a workout in this weekend!

    you sure can do both. I'm playing tennis and lifting. works great. Its nice to see y9ou back here. I several times have gone back to your Recomp posts in the Stickies.

    numbers are meh. my waist is up a half inch and my weight is up almost a lb and a half. And i haven't had a big carb meal in almost a week.

    I missed a workout this week. The weather was too nice at the beach yesterday not to take the day off. :rolleyes:

    Made it to the gym yesterday. I had a killer workout in only 25 minutes. That's all it took, with 25 second waits between sets. Squats, Leg extensions, Leg curls, Hack squats, and Sustained Tension Single Leg Lifts.

    Eating is okay but it's the between meals snacks I get caught up on.

    And today I took the family and company to Denny's and we ate pancakes. Woohoo.

    I am going to play tennis tomorrow and go to the gym. Later I have to take my daughter and her friends to the airport. They're all going North east and have been worried about the snow storm they're expecting. One had her flight cancelled and had to rebook somewhere else.

    Delts, Bis, and Tris tomorrow.

    Leftyx, I can't speak for Shamie, but I have a feeling you're going to be waiting a while for us to be neighbors.

    Twenty five second breaks between sets is really short.

    It's been lightly snowing here for a few hours; have any of the other flights been cancelled?

    If my current job should end, I would move South, probably Florida, and look for another job there. Though I hear good jobs are far and few between in Florida. But if my job continues, I have a minimum of 10 -15 years until I stop working.

    Too bad we cant get you down here.

    eah did another workout tody and 25 second rests rule.

    One of the girls rebooked and got a earlier flight to Boston. she made it home. My daugher and the other girl made their original 7pm flight to Baltimore. They ar in the air now. :rolleyes: I worry.

    Leftyx, wifey's entire nuclear family is here, dear son still has two more years of college, and AFAIK both kids are going to be living here when they go to grad school. None of this points toward us moving anytime soon.

    I'm glad the girls got off, but I totally get the worry thing. Hope everyone got safely to their destinations.

    Too bad you're staying up North. I never had a workout partner. That would be cool.

    Worked out yesterday. Did back and chest. I'm holding steady at Close Grip Pull Ups. I did 3,2,1. And I added weight to the HFL Decline Rows, which I superset with the CGPU. 21's were done well. Then onto BB Bench Press, BB Incline BP, and Incline Dumbbell Bench Press. I added weight to each of these, but I have to check form next time. Lastly I did Skull Crushers and did them well with elbows close together and lower back firm against the bench.

    I also played tennis Monday and Wednesday.

    Squat 95x10x3
    Leg extensions 90x8, 70x8, 50x8, 50x8
    Leg curls 50x8x3
    Hack squat 90x10x3
    sustained tension side leg lift 10x2

    Eating is on point. 200P,100C,60P.

    Numb3rz tomorrow.

    I also played 90 minutes of tennis today.
