I think the perfect body gallery may have lost its use as a motivational tool. The point of this gallery is to post photos that just screams fitness to you. You look at them, and the photo inspires you to:
    -get in better shape
    -care more about fitness
-drop everything you are doing, and lift something heavy, or run as fast as you can until you fall over
-set high goals and surpass them

A great looking body is definitely motivational, but I also wanted to find great looking bodies doing something athletic. For me, I find these images even more motivational. As it gives a sense of what you will be able to do, once you achieve the body you are looking for. In addition, these types of images tend to not suffer from large amounts of airbrushing.

But that's just me. Post whatever you want. Any kind of image that gets you up in the morning and out running, or hitting the weights, or upping your protein and eating clean.

EDIT I hadn't said this explicitly before, but I might as well. I'd like to avoid voicing negative judgements on the images other people find motivational. It kind of destroys the spirit of the thread. What will inevitably happen is someone will post an image and a bunch of other people will tear it apart, as everyone has different ideals. It makes for a very negative read, and the opposite of what I was going for.

I love the pics you posted gh. Awesome.

This is not my idea of a perfect body, but Jen Hendershott is insane. From the expression on her face, I think she would be an awesome personal trainer. The banana suit is, however, a little bit weird.

    Best motivation eva!

    Look at this one, guys.
Belive it or not, this guys is 79 years old!
I found this picture in the newspaper, along with his life story, and it filled me up with Motivation.

If you ask me, that picture is Impressive equally, if not even more, then this one:

Just belive you can, and nothing won't be able to stop you!
    I think I can...I think I can...

Wait, are we not supposed to include bodybuilding and similar pics in this thread? Or is it all right as long as we consider them "motivational"?

I am incredibly inspired by flexibility, I think more than strength. To me it's almost a better measure of fitness, although I'm not sure why. ouch.

post whatever inspires you to be more fit and active. Anything at all, bodybuilding pics included. My intention, by making this the goal of the thread, is that the emphasis is taken away from judging the actual physiques so closely. In the other thread, when someone posted what they thought their perfect body would be, they often needed to justify it, as it was going to be naturally judged by others against their own ideal. The people in these photos don't need to have a perfect or ideal body, they only need to motivate you to achieve and surpass your own goals. It is a slight emphasis change but I think an important one.

edit: I think chicanerous' photos are good example. Some people may not aspire to look like those guys, but look at the size of the weight they're lifting, Damn that is motivational.

Guava, that banana suit is just hilarious, I wonder if she busted out of it, those are some great photos.

I always found Porter to be quite inspirational. Over 50 years old, a fantastic physique, and a great person.
