Moderate January Challenge

    The Challenge

    Consume alcohol in moderation, if at all, during the month of January. Complete sobriety, of course, is an option. For the purposes of this challenge, moderate drinking is defined as no more than 3 drinks per day, and no more than 9 drinks total per week. A drink is defined as 12 ounces of beer, 5 ounces of wine, or 1.5 ounces of 80-proof distilled spirits.

    This challenge begins when you wake up on Saturday, January 1st.

    Participants must post at least every week, including a list of number of drinks consumed per day and total drinks consumed per week.

    I don't want to speak for E, but I will. :lol: It's more likely he got the day wrong as opposed to the date. I'm in and am starting on Jan. 1. So there. :)

    excited for this challenge.

    i'm gonna keep drinking to a minimum tonight. want to wake up to 2011 with a smile.... and NOT feeling like a bag of assholes.

    ok i'm gonna create one post per week and come back and edit in drinks each night. otherwise i'll forget what day was what.

    saturday - 2
    sunday - 3
    monday - 0
    tuesday - 0
    wednesday - 0
    thursday - 0
    friday - 1.5

    week total - 6.5 drinks

    Total damage: 15 ounces of wine = 3 drinks; 4.5 ounces of gin = 3 drinks. Six drinks total.

    my mistake it was only end of day 6 ( it had just gone past midnight and the date read 7/1) but still drink free.

    Any one else having the "OMG WTF am I gonna do tonight its Friday, the challenge, stay calm you can do this" kind of feeling?

    (thinking because of the above statement, I may go with complete sobriety as a confidence booster.....)
