For those thinking....."I am hopeless"...... YOU ARE NOT HOPELESS.....GET STARTED TODAY!

The moment I demolished my knee 2 years ago.....I knew I would never be the same....

Turns out I was right for all the wrong reasons.

Your photo's are confirmation that hard work pays off. You look like a different person by the last photo.

    Thanks Shamie :)

Yeah....from Jan to May, I was still on the rollercoaster a bit.
    - I lost a decent amount of scale weight in the first 6 weeks
    - I moved my office from Dallas to Colorado Springs in Feb and went missing for 6 weeks.
    - When I got back to CO, I sold a house, bought a house and started a monster remodel of the new place
    - Lived in a hotel from March - first part of July
    - Just eliminated fast food, junk food and dietary blow ups from March - beginning of May
    - Went all out clean from mid-May'ish to current and have been hitting my daily macros since

    Been quite a ride.

    :thanks: Thanks Deja! :)

Actually, you bring up something crazy important....people always see the "after." In magazines, on the TV...wherever....and they never really grasp the big picture....
Doing it right takes time. Period. The day in and day out responsibility it takes always gets lost in the conversation. People try something for a week, don't get results and quit......they're expectations are *aaaallllll* wrong.

People need to be more geeked out about making just a little progress on a weekly basis...that should be the smallest sample size used.....and then month over month progress......that's when the results are more dramatic and visible.....and more fun! :spaz:

    wow! Great transformation man!!!!:tucool::tucool::tucool:

And you are spot on. I've learned to be happy with small progress because it is progress. I started about 6 weeks ago and the first two weeks I lost over 4 lbs. It's tapered down and the last few have been just under or around 2, but it's movement in the right direction. Progress is progress.

    Great job again. Inspirational.

That makes me extremely hopeful. That's the pace I am losing at. the first few weeks I was 3.5 - 4 per, and every once in a while I'll have a 2 lb week, but the last 6 has been consistently 1 - 1.5.

Great job again man. Truly inspiring.

I keep seeing myself going towards your "Before" pics. That worries me. Been putting off going to the gym until I get home to Fla. I was doing some upper body work and core work at the gym in the hotel. Now living at home w/o a gym or a treadmill.
Also not having a kitchen means eating out a lot and it's tough to get the wife to not go for the easy fast food some nights.
