    I got to the gym late so I missed out on the Barbell Rows...shame. I'm getting to the point where shit is getting tough as hell to push clean. So I might start pushing for more reps vs. more weight. Either way I'm making progress and that's all that matters. I was happy with the 175 lbs military press I have to admit, I'm excited that I'm getting closer to that coveted 205 lbs military press.

    Again I got to the gym late so I was rushing and didn't complete my workout. I just wasn't into my training like I should have been, off day.

    Shit happens, life moves on.

    Diet has been in the shitter still and my weight has made it's way to 212....man it doesn't take me long to turn into a fat fuck! :doh:

    I should write a book on how to get fat, I seem to be good at it. :dunce:

    Reverse Wrist Curls
    85x15x2 - +5 lbs, meh

    I'm thinking of dropping the weight on the calf raises and the wrist curls. I'm feeling I'm not getting the range of motion I'd like with both. I'm feeling it where I need to, but I think there is too much momentum in certain areas of the lifts.

    Deadlifts are climbing, the herns is taking it in stride so I'll keep doing what I'm doing.

    Diet = shitter

    Tough workout, but well worth it. I went into the gym feeling a positive excitement! I felt like I could take on anything. It was fantastic!...haven't had a workout like this in a long time.

    Diet is tightening up, considering doing keto for the next few months just for fun.

    By this face ^^^^ I see you aren't amused.

    It's been something I've been curious about for some time, though I lacked the knowledge and real drive to go down that road. Though as of late my curiousness has been getting the better of me on the idea.

    My biggest hurdle has been trying to do keto without meat....but I've been researching and finding adequate ways of doing as such.

    What are your thoughts?

    365x5x2 - Garbage, not happy with the entire lift.

    100kgx10x2 - Backed off on the weight and worked on full range of motion.

    Barbell Wrist Curl
    125x15, 125x10 - +5 lbs, terrible

    I've had worse days, I've had better days. I did what needed to be done and moved on.

    Diet, better today.

    Keto is just so unnatural. Our bodies need carbs, just as they need fats and proteins. How does a hard-training athlete maximize his or her training time without carbs? How can s/he even think clearly? I sure can't.

    I just think ketosis it's a really shitty idea on pretty much every possible level. #CTFU

    Hammer Curls
    60x5, 55x5 - The first set was terrible, dropped 5 lbs for the second set...still terrible.

    I'm beginning to think it's time for a deload week! I'm feeling busted up something fierce. Luckily my training protocol calls for a deload week next week...one more day.

    In other news, diet is getting a little better, water intake is up.

    Didn't train today, I managed to pinch something in my neck that caused shooting pain throughout my traps and neck. Instead I went and got massage/chiro work tonight. Still feeling rough, but so much better.

    Hey Everyone,

    I'm currently still on the mend from my neck from last Thursday so nothing to report in regards to gym progression.

    Though I have much news to report!

    A few weeks back I discovered a powerlifting/crossfit facility 5 min from my place. After emails back and forth with the owners, seeing the place, chatting with them, and much consideration I pulled the trigger and joined earlier this week. I've been dissatisfied with the gym I've been going to for some time, mainly because it has changed from being a hardcore gym to a pussified shadow of it's former self. The place is run by a different set of rules depending on what owner is on shift at the time and I'm just getting really tired of it, that and the common goal between them all to snuff out any serious lifter. Soon enough that place will be the next Planet Fitness.

    Oh! Leaving the best for last! NO ONE PICKS UP AFTER THEMSELVES!!!! (minus the serious lifters). Shits everywhere all the time....and it's getting worse.

    Moving on....

    At the beginning of the week I was given the opportunity to become a supervisor in a different department. At first I was completely reluctant and had no real intention of taking the job offer....that was until I was told my current position was being eliminated due to cut backs.

    So needless to say I've taken the position! I may not be the most thrilled about it, but all things considered it could have been far worse.

    Lastly, Maya and I had to let go of an employee last week so I've been playing double duty of working my day job and then helping |Maya in the evenings, plus keeping on the house/cooking. Beginning of next week we have a new girl starting so that will relieve me of the duty on that end at least.

    Next week is going to be crazy! New job, new gym, new gym hours....new beginnings all the way around!
