Hey Aram......What's your take on the Widegrip Seated Pulldown?

Is it a Rotator Cuff Killer?......as I'm being led to believe on my I'net travels........

If it is....would that be ditto for the same ex only hanging from a bar?

People can do these with no probs. Personally, I favor cable pulldowns with a reverse grip, hands 9" apart. Better lat developer. Ditto for pullups... use a reverse grip and accentuate the negative. Use wrist straps, and add weight if possible. Wide grip with palms facing out are shoulder killers for the majority...

    Thanks......for the response......:tucool:

I notice that the Standing Cable Pulldown with palms-facing, Hammer(vertical) closegrip , really hits the Lats when:-

The arms are pretty well stretched out as far as they can go.....BUT...the pull is not from directly overhead .......the arms are about 30 degrees off from vertical.

Pull down with focus on Lats doing the pulling.

I notice this angle really nails the whole length of Lat...not just the upper part.
