Massive Ground Turkey Recall

    It's good to know about the recall.

    However, let's remember that the meat is perfectly safe to eat provided that you follow basic food safety guidelines for ground turkey. Cook the meat to 165 degrees, and make sure all surfaces and hands are clean. No cross contamination.

    As long as you do that, you'll be fine. Everyone that has got (or will get) sick from this meat has broken one or more of the rules above.

    Agreed 100%. Cooking properly will kill the salmonella that has been found in this batch of turkey. Better safe than sorry though. :)
