    4.5 miles + 3 miles today on the treadmill = 7.5 miles

We ended at 250 miles last month let's beat that number in March!

    Good Luck!

tempest, did you enjoy the 5k...the whole process of the race?

the southern snow storm hosed me on sunday and i couldn't run at all. today, the remaining ice kept me inside and i had to run on a tread mill. i'm down 9 miles this week as a result. i'll get 6 of those back if i run thursday and saturday.

i hate treadmills. this morning i was running intervals. i often lose my balance and have to put my arms out to keep from falling and people stare at me. then i accidentally hit the stop button with my left hand and almost did a nose dive over the top of the treadmill. its my fault, i'm a treadmill idiot. i just hate them and never perform well on them.

    15.5 + 3 = 18.5

Yes, I enjoyed it very much. I was suprised that it went by so quickly. It was chilly, in the 50's with a 20-25 mph head wind for the first 1.25 miles.

I ran 29:29 so I was very pleased, my goal was to run under 30 mins and I was a little nervous in the beginning with the strong head wind.

So, I have been looking for my next one, which I think will be March 21st.

I covered about 54 miles last month, which was a high for me running outside. I looked back at some of my logs in 2006 and I was putting in around 90 miles / month on a treadmill. (I also wasn't lifting weights as much - I feel much more balanced now.)

Normally I don't get my runs posted until the next morning, but since I'm here...

    39.5 + 2.5 = 42

It is so beautiful here...makes me want to go to the beach instead of work...our beach was destroyed by the hurricane though...will have to travel this summer to get to one

    48 + 2 = 50

I had the chance to visit Mexico along the Gulf last spring - I loved it, but the humidity was something else. I did run a few times and came back dripping after only 20 minutes or so. Colorado seems to hover around 10-15% over the past few years.

I just set a new PR for longest run (even if I did walk a quarter mile in the middle...)

    50 + 7 = 57
