You see, it's taken me less than a month and a half which I think means I'll have lost muscle (and perhaps a considerable amount). I have upped my calories now so we'll see how it progresses. :)

I'm actually curious about this - has anyone been tracking bodyfat percentage during this? If so, how much of your weight loss has been fat and how much lean? I didn't start to keep track until Jan. 6 (though I have numbers for Nov. 25). With that number, I've lost 2 lbs lean, 4 lbs fat (67%).

    ... So far ... ;)

I have been using the excel spreadsheet someone posted years ago (it's linked in some stickies I think). According to the spreadsheet of the 19lbs I've lost 6 have been of muscle and 12lbs of fat (the same ratio as you). This doesn't take into account water weight however which probably accounted for 3 or 4lbs of my weight I suspect. Either way the results are tangible (I've lost 3 inches off my waist) so I'm not too unhappy. When I hit 165lbs I'll reasses my goals.

I'm going to have to bow out of this challenge...... After a good start of 6-7 pounds.... I blew it on super bowl sunday and am now 231!!!! I've gained 6 pounds since I started, and 11 since super sunday. I'm 16 pounds heavier since september and i'm 31 pounds heavier than 1 year ago! It's time for me to get back on damage control and really stick to it! Hope to see someone in the next challenge with me! :o

I would like everyone to have there final weigh in posted in by Friday, since thats when this challenge ends. I know a lot of you post your weights later in the weekend, but I think to be fair we should all post of Friday. Happy losing everyone!!

I'll consider my official ending weight to be 243, which means I actually gained 4 pounds. My diet wasn't very good while recovering from a minor surgery. That, combined with some of the other health issues I've been having kept me out of the gym.

Hopefully, I can do better on the 30lbs by July 1 challenge!

Well I didn't quite make it. :( The last two weeks I have really fallen of the wagon (relatively speaking).

    Starting weight: 195lbs
    End weight: 176lbs
    Total Loss: 19lbs

I spose 2 weeks at around maintenance will possibly be good for my metabolism though. I'm still eating 5 out of 6 meals healthy but just can't help eating at least one thing wrong each day. :(
