240, up 1. I'm going to have a small surgery next week and won't be able to be in the gym for the remainder of February, so I don't expect progress. (Haven't made any so far, so no real change!) :D

I think I finally broke through this plateau. 163, my lowest weight in recorded history*!

    * Recorded history starts in September 2004, regardless of what other calendars may say.

Nearly half of the folks (5/11) in this challenge have lost 10+ lbs. Great work, folks! :tu:

Just a suggestion but rather than graph people's weight why not instead graph their net loss. This way everyone would start at the same place (0) and all be striving for the same goal (20). It would be more like a leaderboard. A bit of healthy competition never hurt anyone.

Anyway, good work so far guys. :tucool:

Two reasons why that may not be the best idea:

    (1) It will make it difficult to read the lines, since many will overlap. This will be less of a problem for February as opposed to December because we're more spread out now, but it would still be more difficult.

    (2) I would no longer be on the bottom. ;)

I might might do this for our final weigh in, but I feel the graph I have shows the progress from week to week and not just net loss.

    Start weight: 195lbs
    Current weight: 175.3lbs
    Total loss: 19.7lbs

I'll post tommorow if I go down to 175lbs on the dot. Unfortunately, as aforementioned, it doesn't actually feel like I've lost 19+lbs. I'm hoping the next 8lbs will start to really impact how I look.

    That's amazing work.

And I feel EXACTLY how you feel about not feeling like i've lost that much weight. However my clothes fit MUCH better and I get compliments from people all the time now.

From my starting weight when I first realized I had to lose wome weight which was just over 200 on my parent's bathroom scale to my current weight of 172, I realize is a huge drop, but it's been all been over the course of the past 3 months so i feel that the changes have been so gradual that i don't really notice them as they happen. Only in hindsight can i see the changes...
