Lose 20lbs by February 28th

    Lose 20lbs by February 28th

    Fairly simple challenge just aim to lose 20lbs by the end of February.

    Post weekly weigh-ins on Friday and I will keep track of everyones progress. Feel free to post pictures or make comments about diet, workouts, or anything else that is relevant to the challenge.

    Is it too late to join? I'm at 169 lbs today and conveniently my goal for the week starting March 2 is to average 149 lbs.

    Im in. I was in on the last quarter of the 2006 20lb challenge. At that time, i worked down to 228 and was the leading person. Now, after my mothers death & a divorce, needless to say, i'm at 260lbs.

    I'm in before I end up killing myself off with weightgain.

    measurements today at 330pm.

    260lbs at 6'00" tall

    waist 42 7/8"
    stomach 51"
    chest 46 1/2"
    thigh (Left) 29 1/2" (all measurements are relaxed)

    I didn't check how the weeks fell before I set up the challenge and the 29th of Feb is a Friday...so the challenge is now lose 20lbs by 2/29.

    Heres the start of the challenge

    danboback - 262.6lbs
    kansasvmax94 - 260lbs
    Croz - 239lbs
    dezi - 198lbs
    a4kenny - 184.4lbs
    astroguy - 169lbs
    jennifer123 - ??

    We will have our next weigh in this coming Friday the 28th.

    I am totally in. I am going to weigh in tomorrow morning and will post then. I hope you guys are ready because I am sure ready to melt off this excess fat. I have been hitting the gym consistently for the last 4 or 5 months and am in relatively good shape but still have a ways to go. Good luck to all and see you tomorrow.

    Chuck me in there as well:

    Starting: 198 pounds
    Aim: 178 pounds

    Bad start today, kinda had a cheat day as it was the massive Boxing Day sale here (compared to USAs Thanksgiving day sale) Oh well I'm gonna workout twice as hard to make up for it!!!

    starting weight- 175lbs
    need to get rid of about 2 stone so hopefully this will help motivate me.

    Hey, I hope everyone is doing well today. Here it is:

    Starting weight: 201
    Height: 5 ft 10.5
    Goal: 181:tu:

    Just got a bone density test done and I was a whopping 140%. I guess the years of lifting weights:bb: off and on and being a crazy kid have paid off.

    All right. I'll try to give it a shot as well. I'm not at home with my scale right now, but I'm about 196 lbs. Feb. 28th is a good goal date as my wife will be having a baby around that time.

    I would love to be in this one! I'm guessing now that the new years people are comming in that people might stick with the challenge till the end... I'm at 225 right now..... I gained 15-20lbs in 1 month because of my naughty holiday eating habbits..... I was actually 230 because of water bloat yesterday but 24 hours of strict eating and workouts fixed that... I'm not too concerned about getting down to about 210.... but after that my stupid body hits a wall and almost nothing I do makes the weight come off..... :( My longer term goals are to hit 185..... That way when I come off my restricted eating plan i'll jump up to about 190..... Then it's time to gain some serious lean mass! Official weigh in this morning... 224.6

    I would like to join this one as it's my first Challenge and Feb 28th is when I go on Vacation so I want to look good.

    I have posted my pics for December today and currently weigh 184.8 pounds :o

    and ideally want to drop to around 164-168 lbs.

    so a loss of 20lbs would be fantastic and put me at the weight I was 20 years ago,. :gl:

    Not bad considering I had 2 cheat days since I started :D
    Going to have a massive day working out today to make up for it. I always hit a plateau at around 196 lbs (well i've only hit it once and rebounded)

    Weight on 12/28: 241

    I'm making excellent progress on the challenge to gain 20 pounds by 2/28/08.

    Oh...
