Lose 20 pounds by March 6th

    Hey everyone,

    I think the title speaks for itself. For this challenge I'll weigh myself every 2 weeks (on Fridays), and hopefully by March 6 I'll be 20 lbs lighter :D, and so will everyone else who decides to take on this challenge!

    Anyways, here are my stats:

    Sex: Male
    Age: 20
    Height: 5'9"
    Start Weight: 176lbs
    Goal Weight: 156lbs

    This is part of my plan anyway, so I might as well join in!

    Age: 32
    Male
    6'0"
    Starting weight on Dec 31st: 227lbs (down from 235 on Dec 21st)
    2-6-09 weight: 216.6lbs = 10.4lbs lost. 9.6 to go!

    Goal Weight for this challenge: 3-6-09 197lbs (WOW that is aggressive!!)
    /edit Lets try again, 227 - 20 = 207lbs. That is still aggressive.

    Height - 5'6"
    Weight - 213 lbs. - yuck
    Goal Weight (for 3/6/08) - 193
    Ultimate Goal Weight - 175 (by 6/25/08 - Baby's due date)

    If nobody has any objections, I would like to post my weight each week to help keep motivated.

    Week 2 - 1/9/09 - 207 lbs. Down 6

    I'm in for this one as well, I am losing weight at the moment so will be up for the challenge.

    Stats :

    Age - 31
    Sex - Male
    Height - 5' 9"
    Weight at 31/12 - 213 lb

    Intend to get down to about 12 and a half stone (175 lb).

    Looking to lose around 2lb a week - using Livestrong.com to track my meals per day - cutting down to 2100 calories a day in 6 clean meals.

    My weight this morning was 210 so going good so far.

    Good luck to you too Shady. We have similar body weights and final goals, even though I am a bit shorter. Maybe we can help keep one another motivated.

    Yeh definitely - I have been using the livestrong.com website to input my meals etc which allow me to keep a good track on what I am eating.

    I have been trimming down to about 2100 calories a day which should in theory mean a loss of around 1-2 lbs a week.

    Plus I have slowly been adding in a bit of exercise and decided to cycle to and from work today - 3.8 miles in and 5 miles home (more scenic route).

    Weighed myself this morning and I am at 14st 13lbs (209 lbs) so its going well so far.

    Looking to get back to doing some weights again soon.

    Down to about 208 and counting - rode into work today again on the mountain bike - another 9 miles and about 600 - 700 calories burnt - great stuff !!!

    Goal 170lbs

    My stats are worse than any of yours and I have a loooong way to go but I can do 20lbs by March 6

    Down to just under 205 this morning - not been able to get out on the bike much recently due to crappy weather - ice/snow/wintry showers etc.

    But the hockey season has started so that burnt some calories on Saturday.
