    i had to do those burpees yesterday only they called them burpee over bar. same exercises.

    Actually, what doesn't kill you still hurts like a motha, but it sure as shit builds some callouses on your soul.

    Sunday 4-27-14
    7 mile jog on Thames in London

    Thursday 5-1-14 (Crossfit SE11 London)
    Front squat – 15 minutes to find a heavy 5 : 135 lbs
    Complete five rounds for time:
    15 overhead squat (35/25kg)
    15 toes-to-bars
    Time : 18:32

    Tuesday 5-6-14
    Back Squat 4×5 at 80% (205X5,5,5,5)
    then,
    “Elizabeth”
    21-15-9 reps, for time:
    Power Clean 135
    Ring Dips
    Time: 8:17

    Wednesday 5-7-14
    15min AMRAP
    12 Lateral Bar Burpees
    10 Toes To Bar
    8 Thrusters 95
    4 total circuits completed

    Catching back up on logging my workouts and being accountable. Last week I was in London on a business trip. I got in a great run up and down the Thames, and also a great workout at a Crossfit facility in London. I was wiped out over the weekend after the trip, but got back into workout mode and got two workouts in this week so far. My scale weight and waste size are both dropping, so I know my exercise and diet are dialed back in.

    these work outs are very similar to the ones i'm doing now. they're a bitch. throw in some manmakers or db walk outs and they really start to suck. toes to bar suck too. and the white board where they post the reps and times sucks too. but i'm really pleased with the results i'm getting.

    Sorry to learn of your marriage ending. A colleague went through it when he turned 50. At first he was devastated. Then he had fun for a few years. Now 5 years later he has a girlfriend and jokes about it is like cars. You trade up as life moves on.

    Best wishes and don't end up on the evening news. :-)
