I will be starting a cardio-focused Triathlon season on April 15. It will be heavy biking, running, and swimming focused with 1 day per week weight training. In the off season, I've been focusing mainly on strength training.

I'd like to use the next 6 weeks for extra emphasis on legs. Right now, I'm doing: the smith 5x5; leg extension 5x5; leg curl 5x5; and calf raises 3x15. I've been going heavy in my off season because I wanted to add more pre-season muscle mass.

I'm not doing anything else but think I could add: goblet squats; weighted lunges; and weighted squats. Any thoughts on which of the following (or others not mentioned) that I could add (and it what quantity, frequency, etc)?

    Thanks, Jeff
