    hey everyone, im posting again...

around 9:00pm, i get serious cravings to eat... im not sure if its because im hungry or just a bad habbit.

what i usualy do is open the fridge, reach in and grab some fruits...

apples, oranges, banana, grapes, strawberry and 1litre bottle of cold water...

that will kill the craving.. but im wondering if its the right decision?

grapes/banana have a higher gi and will cause a spike in your blood sugar..

id make a cup of a green beans..

it takes like 2 cups of green beans to equal an apple in calories.. but 1/2 the carbs, more fiber, and more filling

Try a protein shake w/ 1/2 cup of skim milk. Hits the spot every time.

    My $.02

This is just my opinion, but I believe that fruit is sort of like nature's desert. Have a piece at night with a large glass of water as a desert.

Protein Shake and water ususally are enough for me. I dont want to add too many calories before bedtime so I usually dont use milk.

I see a lot of people talking about having a protein shake before bed.. I have tried it twice now, and both times I lay there in bed with my eyes plastered open like I had just gulped down 2 cups of coffee. Anybody else with this reaction?

For me, a half cup of low fat cottage cheese does the trick..

I think most of us have this condition of wanting a late nite snack.

My nightly ritual is air-popped popcorn. 3 Tablespoons of corn only has 110 calories and 4 grams of fiber. Plus, by eating one kernel at a time (although very rapidly) it can last a good 20 minutes.
