Great work Jason, amazing difference :tu:

How long is a Max-OT cycle? 12 weeks? (sorry, but I've not looked into that yet). If so, then I'd better get on it NOW ;)

Yes it is 12 weeks. I just finished the 8th week todayand it calls for taking a week off before the last few weeks. oops :D

As far as my diet, I am on a cutting cycle and weigh around 180. I try to shoot for 1800-1900 calories on workout days and 1700-1800 on non workout days. Protein is usually bodyweight in grams, fat is around 30-40 grams and carbs are everything else. Tends to come out to a 40protein/40carb/20fat ratio.

    Sample diet below:

So you've achieved that in just 8 weeks, think I better do some reading up on this.

Once again, well done Jason :tucool:

That is simply fantastic after 8 weeks ! Congratulations, your hard work has sure paid off.
Is Max OT always based on 10X for body weight in calories ?
I am at 155lbs just now, but feel if I went 1550 cals on weight days & 1455 cals on non weight days, then that would be too little for me.
Would love to read your training programme, weights, exercises, cardio etc for an average weeks Mat OT, If you have the time.

    GREAT job !

    Congragulations.

Hey, did you follow Max-OT's program for calorie intake? It's suggestion for me is around 3000 calories... and I'm trying to lose weight. I just can't image eating more, and losing weight.

Oh, last question, did you do cardio? If so, how, did you split it, or did you go with the program where you lift 3 days a week.

I just started following the lifting techniques in Max-OT and I'm amazed. Now I'm a believer, I'm just confused with how my diet and aerobics figures in... I tired of this belly.

The calorie requirement outlined in the program are for a bulking cycle if I am not mistaken. I did it on a cutting cycle, 1800 per day vs the 2800 it recommended.

I didn't incorporate cardio until about 4 weeks into it. I would do 30 minutes stationary bike or precor at 65% 3 days a week.

    2 quick questions

Were you doing the 5 day a week workout plan?
Did you do cardio in the morning and lift at night or how did you break that out?

    Thanks.

BTW - you look like a new man. Insane results.

    Absolutely awsome results !!!

I have been following MAX-OT principles, but not the exact program. I have made massive strength improvements also, it really is based on a sound theory. Why do 3 sets of 10/8/6 reps, upping weight each time, when you can do 3 sets of 6 reps, maxing out each time?

Brilliant. Your tempting me to follow the actual program ! ;)

Just make sure you listen to your body and take frequent weeks off, Max-OT can really run down your central nervous system.
