Is the military-controlled clock for strictly timed rest intervals?

What are the dimensions of your new gym in your new home? Is that room 10 x 13?

    Thanks. :)

    :tucool:

I always note the start and stop time of my workouts in my workout logs, and of course I use the clock for timing my rest intervals, too. The only reason I have a radio-controlled clock is because it's nice to never have to set it and also to know it's always 100% accurate down to the second.

    It's roughly 12' x 14'10".

John, congrats on the new home and your gym looks great.

I have recently begin to eat a lot of fish for my evening meals and was curious how you cooked the majority of yours. Do you grill most of it or bake it in the oven and do you add anything to it like olive oil, spices, lemon juice etc. I am just trying to find the healthiest way to prepare it. Thanks.

    Thank you. :)

Most of the fish I eat while cutting is cod, and to prepare that I simply drizzle some lemon juice on it along with some fresh cracked pepper. I wrap the fillet in tin foil and toss it in the toaster oven set at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.

When I have salmon I make it a few different ways. Check out the recipe section of JSF for a few of my favorite way to prepare salmon.

That is a hardcore gym... I've never heard it anywhere around here, but do you compete, John?

    Re todays update.

Would you not consider lean steak, rice and broccoli a protein / carb meal? Or am i missing something?

No steak is completely 'lean', so it's got protein, carbs and fat

Sorry, I meant the meal as a whole had all 3, not the steak :)

    That's one awesome gym John!

I was out your way a few weeks ago when i was on vacation in America. Perfect weather for the outdoor workout!

I'm surprised you don't have a little section in the gym for your sleeping bag :) With a gym that looks like yours you'd be tempted to wake up in there :tu:
