I think I will also post my workouts here. Seems like the right place for them!

    Biked 5 miles

    Played Raquetball and lost 2-1 (2-15, 11-15, 15-10)

Tomorrow is a lifting day and a running day. Upper back and shoulders, should be a good one.

    Off to

Forgot I even started this thread!

Well, I can dunk a Women's ball like Shawn Bradley now, but with as ugly as that is, I don't think it counts yet ;) !

Played 3 vs. 3 today, and played well, but lost every single freaking game. The worst was a 12-4 schlacking where the other team shot 6-7 from long range and ended the game in only 7 possessions. I shot 3-4 and my teammates were 1-2, but it's hard to win when they don't (hardly!) miss.

Since I forgot my run yesterday, I will go do that tonight. Let's gun for 10 minute miles...

    Goals (Current Progress)

    1. Lose 20 lbs first quarter 2006 (-18lbs in this challenge)

    2. 215lbs as of April 1, 2006 (224lbs)

    3. 199lbs as of June 1, 2006 (224lbs)

    4. 11% BF as of June1, 2006 (18%BF)

    5. Run 8 miles on March 19th, 2006 (oops, off to do this one a day late!)

Since I have been off the site for a while, I thought I would update my goal list.

    1. Lose 20 lbs first quarter 2006
Made this one with ease, I was down 28 pounds on April 1st.

    2. 215lbs as of April 1, 2006
Missed this one just slightly, only got to 222 on April 1st.

    3. 199lbs as of June 1, 2006
Never quite got there, got off track and never got back on track.

    4. 11% BF as of June1, 2006
Never quite got there, got off track and never got back on track.

    5. Run 8 miles on March 19th, 2006
Made this one and nearly puked afterwards.

    6. Run 10 miles on April 2, 2006
Made this one, and did puke afterwards.

    7. Run 12 miles on April 16, 2006
Made this one and puked during and afterwards.

    8. Run the Music City (Half) Marathon April 29th, 2006
Completed this and felt so sick afterwards that I couldn't puke.

    9. Run the Music City (Half) Marathon in less than 2 hours (9:16 miles for 13.1 miles)
Little short, it took me something like 2:30 to finish.

    10. Dunk a Raquetball
    Check.

    11. Dunk a Softball
    Check.

    12. Dunk a Volleyball
    Check.

    13. Dunk a Women's Basketball
    Check.

    14. Dunk a Men's Basketball
    Not yet, but soon.

    15. Dunk a Men's Basketball two handed
    Not yet, but soon.

I will redo my goal list for the first half of 2007 tomorrow. All and all 2006 was a decent year.

Holy cow am I a soda junkie....?!?!?!

I think I need to wean myself from diet soda as well, so I am updating my goals to include that. I took out the recycling today, and there are at least 6 empty diet pop cans in there since 6am today...not counting the one I just opened! I should just hook those things up to a continuous drip IV!

Decided to join the August 100 challenge. Should be fun!

Yummy idea somewhere on JSF about using cottage cheese as a dip on cucumbers. I flavored it with dill and onion powder, and it was freaking great!

Got the calipers out tonight....not pretty...25.52% Scale says 31.1% and mine has always run about 5% higher than the calipers. Off to workout.:bb: Lots of energy from the 15" sub I ate for dinner.:spank: (turkey, no mayo or cheese)

Ouch! I must have forgot why I didn't like running/walking/jogging...now I remember! But it does feel good to have the blood flowing again.

I quickly walked to the park about a quarter mile (5min) from my home, did some aptly-named suicides on the smallish basketball court, quickly walked for another 30minutes, turned around and tried to make it home in 20 minutes. I made it to my cool down spot in time! Couldn't hardly breathe, but O2 is probably optional, right?

I can't wait for my wife to get home tomorrow. The pups are good company, but no competition for her.:D

Hooray! Today was a great day. My hour long walk turned into a 30minute walk with 3 hours of hard cleaning afterwards. But totally worth it, my wife was thrilled to have a mostly spotless house! Pretty clean eating today, but I did have a moderate amount of pizza for dinner, since my mother in law was staying with us tonight and took us out for dinner!

Tomorrow will be a great day for me to get some walking in around patient care, as I only have three scheduled all day. Hopefully several miles!
