Holy crap! Just tried the 1st workout of the 2nd month of insanity. Only made it 20 minutes before I had to stop due to an intense feeling that I was going to :barf:

On another note... the heart rate monitor finally bit the dust :( It locked up (again) but this time with a constant beep. I think I've resurrected it for the last time. Good thing I'll be back in the states in 2 weeks!

OK... so I took 2 pepto pills and waited 30 minutes and went again. Finished it this time... it wasn't pretty, but I finished! Then I went out and got 2 scoops of gelato for my PWO meal :D I love gelato

Thanks Lefty! Still have a ways to go on the gut girth.

Just finished the Insanity max recovery workout... I really don't like doing Insanity  Going to keep going while in Germany because it's the best option that I have, but get back to lifting once I get settled back in the states.

Shew... last week SUCKED! I was in Bremen, Germany... wayyyy north. It is a cool city, but the sun didn't shine the whole week I was there... got rather miserable towards the end. I've decided that I loathe Insanity so much that I'm not doing it any more. Went out for a run today instead.

I fly back to the US on Friday :claphigh: It'll probably mean a couple weeks to get back into the groove again - flying into Ohio then driving back down to Alabama... my crazy lifestyle as a transient continues  can't wait to get the house sold and get the whole relocation thing behind us!

Hey BJ. Good run on Insanity. Good luck with your running.
Where is your final destination? Are you staying in Alabama?

Went for a run after work... then heading to karate practice in a little bit. One of the German guys I've been working with is a 4th degree black belt. He has invited me out to see the class he teaches several times, so I guess I'm a bit obligated. I told him that I'd come as long as he promises not to hurt me

I've turned away from all social media for a couple weeks while I spent time with the family. Time to get back in gear!

Welcome back to the US. :) I'm sure your family was happy to have you home.

What were your final stats from your intense work out schedule in Germany? Hopefully you saw good results.

It's been a while!!! Life is still hectic... I had no idea that changing jobs and moving 500 miles would be so difficult

The good news is... we just found and purchased a property we LOVE, so the family will be back together soon (we've been living apart since the beginning of March)

Here's the view from the front porch

Nice house. I see the pic is from the MLS. Is it as nice up close and personal? I hope. Nice to see you're back with your family again BJ. And I hope you keep up your workouts.

That's a fine house situated on a beautiful piece of land. Enjoy your time there and with your family.
