    Week 2 of Insanity last day... Pure Cardio

    38 minutes
    1 (<140 bpm) = 29%
    2 (141-150) = 5%
    3 (151-160) = 7%
    4 (161-180) = 57%
    5 (181+) = 1%

    Avg = 150 Max = 182

    Are you getting faulty readings? Mine has me wet the chest strap before starting. If I don't I get inconsistent readings throughout my workout. More so initially.

    Yeah... I do the same with mine. The watch unit is what was failing. It was losing connection with the battery. I tore it apart and found a broken clip on the battery retainer. Right now I have it working, but I'm sure it will mess up again.

    I'm going to buy a new one once I return from Germany (everything is more expensive over here)

    Thank you!

    Took a waist measurement this morning... 37" flat... down from 39" :o when I arrived in Germany 23 days ago. 36 days to go - hoping to get down in the 34s before I leave. (that's where I was when I was in my best shape) Sad that I let myself gain that much, but still much better than where I started in this journey a few years back (was over 44" then - I think)

    Nice pics. It's neat to see mountains with snow on them in summer.

    Insanity is supposed to be an 8 week program with a recovery week in the middle (making it 9 weeks). However, I have taken about a week off due to sickness and travel, so I'm a little behind. Yesterday was actually day 4, not day 3 as I had reported. It has you workout 6 days per week.

    I haven't been running because my running partner is having issues with his ankle swelling. I might start back up without him next week if he's unable to continue.

    Time for a workout!

    Decided that I'm not waiting on my limp buddy any more... went for a run after the Insanity workout. A short one (2 miles) - started back at the 3rd week of the C25K program

    Oh - and BTW - waist measurement down to 36.75 at last check. That's 2.25 off since May 30th

    If that is a true 2.25 inch loss then, geez BJ, your family is not going to recognize you. :D
