Through the end of the year I am focusing on building muscle mass by lifting weights and a good diet. Right now, my workouts are 3-4 times a week and consist of 45-50 minutes of weights followed by 30 minutes cardio. I started at the gym and on my plan back in May and had a very high bodyfat % (around 30%) to work with. I've made some progress but it's going to be a slow journey down.

My question is since I am doing 30 minutes cardio 3-4 times a week following my weight workouts, should I do more cardio than this or would I be risking burning muscle mass. I am eating pre-workout meal and a good post-workout meal with protein/carbs with each workout to help avoid any catabolism.

    What are y'alls thoughts??

I just glanced over it. Curious though to know what is outdated.

I do a lot of cardio, usually 2 hours a day. I weightlifted before I started to love cardio, and the addition really makes me feel great. Although I should mention my goal isn't much focused on muscle gain at this point.
