    get better

    but don't rush it

sometimes if it has been a while since you have been in the gym, it is best just to start light and easy before working your way up again.

    good luck

I hear you on the depressed thing - did that end of last year thanks to some crazy hormones. Still workout... it'll help. Even when you don't want to, you'll still feel better. Find out what the doc says and if you're healthy, start moving again. Hopefully that will spur on some appetite :)

Very glad to hear you're BF is home! :D

YAY for the boyfriend comeback! :claphigh:

We all know you're going to be pretty busy, but don't forget to update us on what the doctor said and how you're feeling, ok? ;)

I wrote a proper post last night but the connection broke and I simply didn't have the strength to do it again.

News: got better, started lifting on MOnday - weakest workout ever, still I got DOMS.

Will reduce workouts to 3 times a week minimum to keep me active, but want to spend more time with BF since it turns out we won't be able to have a proper vacation together due to professional obligations.

More important news: I've never been this happy, calm and complete. I won't say anything more:dreamy:

I'm still weak and a bit down, but it's because of the high carb or no diet of the last 20 days:bang:

    I'm fixing that.

    No slip.

Nice to read that you're feeling better and have a much more positive attitude. Enjoy the time with your BF.

    :lol::lol:

Only partly true. I did say I had a project starting on JUne 20 and ending on July 20, and that I would have no time for exercise since I had to work 15 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. Before that I was ill. So, all that behind me now. I'm ready to start again. Slowly. I'm scared of even checking my size or fitness levels, but will have to do. The temperatures are a bit lower this week, and that should get me going. Need to buy healthy food.

So far, in spite of all the work I've had the best summer ever:)

Will be back with a plan after my coffee break.

EDIT: all right, here's my simple plan:

    - buy clean food
    - drink 2,5 l of water daily
    - 3 lifting workouts this week - high weight low rep, 35 min min
    - cardio? - i don't know, before work if it's not too hot
    - alcohol once a week
    - junk food once a week
    - coffee - 2 cups a day max

    - take measurements
    - push up test

EDIT 2: actually, I can't wait to start. I feel bloated and tired all the time and weak. And need to get my groove back :D

    Thank you:wave:

Well, I didn't buy clean food, I went out in the evening, had a pizza and a beer, and some ice-cream, went back home, had some cardio (that counts right?:D) and woke up today tired as hell. Lots of water all the time, so I'm really only sleepy.
Work is terrible right now, some high tensions in the office between colleagues - affects me to, my sleep, everyday, something has to be done about it. I'm normally the one who takes initiative in solving conflicts, but right now I'm just to tired of drama queens, psychos and pussies.

I need a good nap this afternoon, and then I'll have to exercise.

    Have a great day everyone!:morning:

Getting started is the hard part. That is why this time I am not going to stop.

It should start to cool off soon so you can exercise. You should be able to get to 100 push ups if you set your mind to it.

You are going to have kickass arms if you keep up the push ups.

    thanks guys:)

    89/90

well, it's still terribly hot, but my BF left yesterday and because i cannot allow myself to think about how it's going to be without him for the next three months, i did all sorts of errands today (even changed bathroom sink tap on my own!) and
    45min FASTED CARDIO
    ate clean
just having my protein shake, which tastes like melted vanilla ice-cream - perfect for this summer evening, and have prepared a clean protein based breakfast to bring to work tomorrow.

    the plan is simple:
    4-5 lifting workouts
    4-5 cardio per week
    4 meals a day minimum
    breakfast!
    2,5-3 l water
    alcohol once a week
    cheat meal once a week

tomorrow i'll wake up earlier for another cardio session before work, only because it makes me feel good. in the afternoon i plan to go to the beach, tuesday i have to see my ophthalmologist, wednesday then will be first lifting day - upper body, have to start those push ups again.

    have a good week everyone!

    88/90

    interval training 20 min, fasted
coffee, cottage cheese with veggies and whole grain bread for breakfast

I feel great! I haven't stopped sweating since I finished my workout 1,5 hour ago, in spite of the shower and A/C in the office. Is that good or bad?

    After work - beach time:jumping:
