On a hack squat machine, does anyone know what the unloaded "sled" weighs by itself? I've always just been figuring it at about 45 lbs. I know it's pretty heavy without any extra plates on it.

That very well could be. I knew I was estimating on the "low" side. I'm probably a little stronger in my legs than what I originally thought..ha!
    Thanks for the info!

There's no standard, so your sled could be any arbitrary weight.

What's even more important than the weight of the sled is the angle of work. Differently angled leg presses will vary how much your can lift.
