    Well, I got fucking wasted.

Not in a 'proud way' but whatever.

Pissed out alot of water weight/threw up/shitted out. Woke up at 93.4, I think I put on a solid 2 litres of water[2 kilos] today, so I hope to be a round 94-95 tomorrow and work down from there.

Diet today was ok, a little high in calories but protein was spot on. Work tomorrow 9-3:50 then hit the gym hard :D

Don't worry, I'm not dead. Just busy as HELL lately.

Ashamed to say I hit seven days without the gym, HOWEVER, I'm also proudish to say I kept my eating 'ok'. Today I was 92.9 Kilos, so about 1.3 kilos [2.8 lbs] above my lightest ever.

For me now it is where I can turn the screw.

Imagine living in a humid as HELL city, with pollution, and it being 30 degrees[about 85+ for you Americans] for the next 6 months.

So, Whenever I train I will be sweating like hell, water weight isn't such a problem but dehydration is.

Another problem I have got myself into is simply working too much, although this was 'part of the plan' of hitting the next 4 months REALLY hard leading up to my return to the UK for vacation, and socking away enough change for:

A years rent [not much, rent here is only about $300 a month for a nice apartment, but I'll need 14 months lump sum, so I need like 4000 dollars]
Return tickets to the UK for myself and my wife [I saw some online for $750 via Kuala Lumpur, which would allow her to see yet another city, amazing]
A good time in the UK [no point going and being complete skin flints, although I'm not planning on champagne dinners, I'd still like her to enjoy an occasionally taxi in London, see the sights, a nice lunch by the river, and even stopping at a London pub for a bite to eat and two colas can rinse through 35-40 dollars EASILY].

Anyways, my wife and I went to another city in China [Wuhan if you're in the know] and applied for her visa. We only had 5 of the 11 'suggested documents' but I think we might be ok.

Unfortunately my wife is NOT a problem solver, she 'didn't think' to bring her family registration or print bank documents to support her case, damn.

    Oh well, we will see!

Had planned a business dinner but after reading some of this forum packed it in and went to the gym instead, still treated myself to Lemon sorbet BUT it only has about 60-70 calories for one scoop.

After that nothing but water and a diet soda. had half a stick of a chocolate bar, which is literally 20 calories, after that nothing. Hope to be around 92.5 tomorrow morning *praying*.

In the gym I've decided for the treadmill instead of flat running which annihilates my shin splints, I do a slower[5 speed] maximum incline, it's like walking up a mountain path for ten minutes and it's exhausting. Did 260 calories of cardio, then hit pec dec, low row and shoulder shrugs hard. Too many people in there today, I was not comfortable.

    I'm still here, plodding along.

Had three bad days of eats[birthdays, treats, business dinners] and my weight went to 220 lbs. Two days of drinking 2 gallons a day had it all pushed out in 2 days and this morning I was 203.8, only 2.2 lbs off my lowest ever weight.

With it starting to get hot, it's FORCING me to drink a hell of a lot of water and forcing out water weight.

I finally got the maid to clean the house so cooking is back on the agenda, my lunch [lefty approved I hope] was:

Two large scoops of white thailand rice[maybe 400 calories]
    1 chicken breast
One steamed brocolli[I put it in with the rice]
    One tomato

Put chicken brocolli tomato and some soy sauce and rice wine in the pan with a drizzle of olive oil, threw in some garlic and ginger and 'chao'. Haven't eaten rice in a long time and boy I'm full.

    Eats for today in total:

One packet potato chips[250 calories] SORRY LEFTY!
    1 chicken breast [200]
    Rice [400]
    Broccoli [80]
    Tomato [40]
    1 banana [100]

    Total so far today: 1070
    Planned: 1700

Probably eat chicken and rice for dinner too.

I will head to the gym for the first time in ten days.

I hope to keep up and hit 200 lbs then 90 Kgs [198 lbs] sometime this week. I've never been able to break through it save for being extremely ill.

    Here's hoping!

My dinner yesterday was 2 chicken breasts, a large ladle of rice and BBQ sauce.

I then had two bananas after the gym and before bed.

Anyways, woke up this morning.....91.7 :D Only .6 lbs above my lightest ever weight :D

Went to the gym, burnt through 250 calories quickly, 11 minutes on the bike for 10 and 9 minutes on the treadmill on the highest incline at 5 KM/ph. Let me tell you, even though it's not quick, every step is a challenge at that incline because it's like going up a mountain.

After that worked my arms, did preacher curls and tricep pull downs, then a set of deadlifts [110 x 10 easily, 150 x 10 easily, 170 x 10 easily] then felt tired and called it a day. First gym day in ten days.

So, more or the same today, and I'm going to aim for 6L[1 1/2 gallons] of water intake today. My lunch will be at a German restaurant so I'm going to say no breakfast and perhaps a chicken breast for dinner, that's it.

German restaurant I will aim for mainly meat to keep my protein up, and I'm thinking their meatballs and then some sausages :D

    No that's lbs!

My maximum DL in lbs is about 300, or maybe 320.

I struggle with grip alot, as I go to lift on the deadlift the bar 'spins' through my hands and towards the top of my fingers...I need to buy some gloves.

Enjoyed doing them because almost no one at the gym does, so I get weird looks, plus in China most guys only know shoulders/arms/t-shirt muscle lifts so they're like 'LOL is this guy going to bench 350 lbs?' then I DL and they're like 'ahhhhhhhhh....'

I'm hovering at 93/94, I'm still struggling on that plateau of not being able to break through 91 kilos, it's annoying. I have 4 straight days off, so long sleeps and the chance to stay home and eat homecooked cheap food could help me pop it, plus I want 4 straight days at the gym.

3 day holiday here so I'm relaxing.

Ate 'ok' yesterday, ate 2 slices of pizza and nachos, but also drank a ton of water[maybe 2 or 2 1/2 gallons], and so this morning I was 92.2 kgs, only 1.5 lbs above my lowest ever weight.

    Biggest news ->

My wife was REFUSED a visa for travel to the UK this summer. I knew when I opened the package and saw the letter that it wasn't good news. Damn it.

I'm too tired to retry right now[each one costs $200 plus 2 x return airfare and hotel for another city] so we've changed the $2500 we had budgeted for UK[for spending, not flights] and are looking at:

Returning to Bali[if I went now I'd be 12kilos -25 lbs less than when I went last year] - I'e been before but Zhang guo yan hasn't
Maldives - Would only be 5 days because it's expensive, return boat transfers from airport to most hotels is $400 alone
Korea - My wife LOVES the soaps
Thailand - Cheap but getting there is the same as flying to bali
Kuala Lumpur - I'm liking this idea more

Or a combination of all...I'm thinking

    Bali
    Korea[never been]
    Kuala Lumpur[only spent 2 days]

    So we'll have to see!

I don't understand this. Does Korea have soaps? And what about those North Koreans?

South Korea are famous for pop stars and soap operas...and plastic surgery.

This last week I'd give myself a D+, didn't hugely overeat, didn't put on wieght but didn't go to the gym or lose either, hovering at 94Kilos.

I NEED to drink more water in the day, the other night I had a gaming night with a friend and drank about 12 diet cokes, kept going to the bathroom and weight plummeted the day after...so....I'll aim for 1 1/2 gallons a day of water.

Anyways, I'm getting to that stage in life where I'm panicking about money...or not so much panicking as having many things I 'want', especially travel, but not having the cash RIGHT NOW to do it. Oh well.

'backlashed' against my wifes visa refusal from the UK by booking:

    Kuala Lumpur
    Singapore
    Bali
    Maldives
    Thailand
    Korea

Yes, It cost about $10000 but it'll be worth it, I've never been to Singapore, Maldives, Thailand or Korea, and only spent 1/2 a day in KL so I'm really looking forward to it.

My work is very 'term' based, i.e. when schools in and I'm worried about my cash come July and August, but we'll see.

My grandma is cut up about me not returning, but honestly, and this might sound horrendous, my life in China now has over-taken life at home. I can't relate to jobs, people or current events there. I love my family but I hope to build a long term stability relationship with my wife, and getting her out to see the world from her China 'cave' is a big step. I even think returning to the UK having seen 6 other countries will be a huge improvement to who she is.

I saw a deal with Air Malaysia, $360 return to India from Shanghai, and then saw a package deal of about $300 for hotels and a tour for 6 days, good lord I'm tempted, $1300 for me and the wife, BUT, my mother has always dreamed of going and also India somehow requires I get a visa, PLUS the $10,000 burnt a hole.

If I was being stupid I'd use the new credit card my wife got[so we can use it at international hotels, we went to HK with only China issued bank cards and we had to leave $500 behind the desk as a deposit], BUT, I'm not dumb enough to do that.

When I was a student in the Uk I went into about $4000 of personal debt with the bank to life, fortunately my parents took care of it, and in China I cannot get credit, which is a good thing.

I have rent to pay in June[moving to a new house] and right now that is at the head of my planning, I decided that I'd much rather get that paid, then see what's left over, rather than pay for travel/things I want now and then be forced to a shitty apartment.

As far as getting in shape, I'm still 12 1/2 Kilos [almost 30 lbs] down on where I started, some people who didn't see me for a while said I'm 'lean' but the Chinese obsession with socialising at dinner is killing me!

I'm DEFINITELY getting back on it, my gym card expires tomorrow and I'm planning on lugging another 6 months on the card, hitting it tomorrow and eating right.

I went to the 24 hour shop just now, normally at 1am I'd buy some dumplings, some potato chips, maybe a small candy bar, but this time I just bought diet coke and soem milk[for my oatmeal tomorrow!].

Plans for tomorrow include working 8-12, then having a nap, going to the supermarket and buying chicken breasts and vegetables, then hitting the gym mid afternoon[no one there].

    Planned diet for tomorrow!

    [Nothing in morning except coffee]
Upon returning home, a chicken breast with a teaspoon of mayo, roast potato
Some dried kiwi[naturally dried kiwi with no added sugar is bliss]
After gym, probably rice, brocolli and chicken

I REALLY have to get my eating down, although my 'overeating' has probably taken my metabolism up a bit , so instead of 1700 calories, I can get away with more like 2200-2300 if I gym.

3 months until my vacation, I can't get 'ripped', but I can at least be less whale like!

    That's everywhere my man...

I live in Colorado (and have for 16 years now)....and the rest of my family live back in Ohio. 1,400 miles may as well be 10,000...

Now that I have a wife and kids, I get back to Ohio maybe every two or three years these days....once you have planted roots and start building a family time gets dedicated to more current priorities...

Any time I want to take the wife and kids to Ohio, it is at least 4 or 5 days and $3,000 - $5,000 in expenses...that doesn't even count "lost" wages...

But.....that's why they have Skype, phones, facebook, etc...

    Yes, I guess it's a similar situation.

How you spend $5000 boggles me, although I guess if I have two kids everytime we re-visited the UK I'd need to pay for 4 tickets, even at their cheapest($800) that's $3200, and I would assume I wouldn't want my kids to be on a long flight, so flying direct, there goes $5000 for 4 tickets!

Also there is the visa situation, my wife said it would be MUCH easier to just get her a UK passport. I was thinking 'yes darling, BUT, they don't just grow on trees!'

I can't stop thinking about when to travel, how much etc. so hopefully this year I'll be hopping out maybe 10 or 12 different times to different countries.

As far as weight, this morning 91.7, only .6 lbs up on my lightest ever weight, today's food:

Wrap with egg and sausage [made on the roadside, no idea, I guess 600]
Small glass of milk [120 calories]
    Ice cream [maybe 240]
Lunch meal of sweet and sour eggplant, ribs and gong bao ji ding[general tsu's chicken] - I guess 1000

So under 2000, I'll allow myself 200 calories of fruit to round me to 2200 for the day if I get hungry.

I'm hoping to go to bed at 92, which would probably have me wake up around 91, which would be a new lowest weight.

    Days until Bali - 84
    Target weight - About 185lbs / 85 kilos
    Current weight - 91.7 kilos - 201.7
    Next milestone - 90.9 Kilos - 200 lbs
    Weight still to go - 6.7 kilos - 14.7 / round up to 15

I know I cant get shredded in 84 days, but I can damn well try and thin out.

14 pounds in 84 days is easily doable, 12 weeks, that's only just over a pound a week, I'm sure I could lose 2 lbs a week easily. If I did that I would be 24 lbs down, and then weight in at 177, but let me not get ahead of myself!

My wife has promised me some calvin klein pjs for our travels if I get down to 85, although she teased me by saying she'd only buy the bottoms at 85, and the top at 80. Damn clever wife!

In KL I've got my eyes on Shangrila's afternoon tea, it's $15 for two people, and if we do go I think it's safe to say that would be my entire calorie allowance gone!

Resigned for the gym for a year, 1700 RMB, or almost 300 dollars, I figure it's only 22 dollars a month, it's really nothing, but paying a lump sum can be painful.

It also means I gotta use it more now I know I paid through the teeth for it!

I had a meal out a few days ago and it jacked my weight up, so I'm slowly bringing it back down.

I went to the gym yesterday having eaten nothing by 5pm, I honestly sat at the deadlift bar and went to lift...nothing.

Sat on the bench and felt like I was a ghost, I had no energy.

Called the wife and she came and picked me up and we ate her homemade food and I took a nap.

I'm not going to force myself to lift it if it feels lke something is not right, especially as it's now hot as hell and my diabetes is affected by this.

Anyways, woke up at 93 Kilos today, normally if I'm a good boy with eating/working out I go to bed around the same weight. So, if I can hit the bed around 93 I would wake up around 92, which is not bad.

    Today's plan and eats:

1 1/2 gallons of water[I ate alot of salt yesterday]

    Eats:

    Breakfast[already eaten]

Some pineapple [fresh today so I had to have it] 150 calories
    3 fried eggs [210 + 100 calories oil]
    A tomato [40]

So I'm at 500 calories already, but it's nice to get the protein off to a start with the eggs. I forgot how DELICIOUS fried eggs are and that if I get a good pan I can dry fry them, 210 calories for 3 eggs is not bad at all, and if I throw in a tomato it's actually pretty filling.

I have a private law class at 11-12:30, after which I plan to eat:

    Oatmeal with a banana [200oatmeal, 120 milk, 100 banana] - 420

Then go to the gym, and for dinner:

2 chicken breasts, broccoli and a bowl of white rice. [350 chicken breasts, 50 broccoli, 300 rice] - 700

That will bring me to about 1620, and then I'll allow some fruit for various snacks.

I want to try and NOT spend any money outside today, except paying for a coffee in the place I'm teaching.

I've been dogged by worries about all the money going out these months[travel, rent, dogs fees, insurance, flights, gym, medicine etc.] and I'm trying to cut back. Why earn $50 teaching law if I'm going to spend $30-40 on a pointless lunch?

Honestly, working every day[no break until july] is killing me. I wanted to go to the gym today, but my body just felt exhausted. I don't know what's wrong, maybe I've got bird flu, or maybe it's just exhaustion.

Today I planned the gym but didn't go, fortunately I slept late, so my consumption hasn't made me hungry yet.

    Bad news:

My dad sent me cadburys turkish delight chocolate, which he KNOWS I can't stop eating.
I ate some bread, which is just carbs :<

    Good news:

Even after eating 500 calories of it, I'm still below the 2200 I budgeted, infact I'm right around 1800, perfect.
Today I drank about 1 1/2 gallons of water, I tend to drink it before 2-3pm because I hate waking up and taking a leak, because my sleep hasn't been great.
I mostly consumed protein heavy foods, two chicken breasts and eggs.

    Foods:[I'm not hungry]

    3 eggs 210
    Oil 100
    Tomato 40
    Apple 100
    Coffee -
    Glass of milk 120
2 chicken breasts, stirfried with garlic and ginger salt 300
    Oil 100
    Breadsticks[twisted breadsticks, baked] 300 cals
    Chocolate 500

So around 1800, and I'm not hungry. It's 9pm and I'm done eating and drinking for today.

Tomorrow my work is 2pm, I plan to sleep late[yay] then eat a big ass breakfast of eggs, oatmeal, fruit and some chicken, maybe use 1000 calories for this, before work, then grab a sandwich[Subway <400 calorie range] then some chicken when I return home.

Plan to hit the gym at 7pm tomorrow until 8:30.

My weight is around 93 right now[I love to see how 'flushing' works] and if can resist eating or drinking it means I should wake up seeing a 91.xx in there somewhere!

If I wake up and see that tomorrow I promise to GOD that I will be an angel tomorrow in the hope that I see a new low on Tuesday morning!

Except for some chocolate I don't see much to worry about. Those are all good foods. I hope you make your weight goal on Tuesday.

    I'm a fucking moron.

I went to a friends house late last night, I ate:

    Rest of chocolate [500 cals]
Big bag of doritos[haven't eaten these in a year, he imported them] [800 cals]
    2 cans of Dr pepper[imported] [300 cals]

Damn it, plus went to sleep at 7am and woke up at 11am for work.

Forced myself to only eat 1500 calories today to 'make up for it' and hoping to hit a nice 92 on the scale tomorrow morning if I can get a solid nights sleep.

    Damn it.

    Shit...just...got...real.

Found some pics of myself as a kid, and everyone's saying 'You're so handsome when you're thin.' Ah..

Oh and wedding confirmed for next year summer, eeeek.

So, what did I do? Since I went shitty for a week or so, I decided to completely strat out my life.

Came out with a spreadsheet for my life. This will dictate work, goals, eating, drinking, sleeping etc. for half a year, and help me to stack everything in a row.

Seems overkill, but I thrive on this sort of organisation.

Hit the gym today, felt good, but eased myself in with cardio, then curls, low rows, and worked legs.

210 lbs this morning, still hoping to hit that 200 or under mark.

Spreadsheet for reference, with clear, attainable goals!
