So today wasn't such a great diet day because I binged a lot: it started with ~800 calories worth protein bars ( ), proceeded to icecream and finished with an 'energy' bar (the energy is supposed to be educed from the refined sugar, hydrogenized oil and white flour).

Oh well, at least I had my morning cardio!
I'm postponing my chest/shoulders w/o for tomorrow because today I came back late and im beat.

    I love this morning!
I succeeded to wake up at around 6 and leave for my morning jog at 6:10.

I did the usual 5.6 km route, I could do the 7.5 km one but I had annoying cramps in my stomach so I forfeit.

Anyways, today I plan to keep my diet super clean - to compensate for yesterday's binging, which won't be difficult because I only eat healthy things when I'm not stuffing my face with icecream and the likes. :D

I'm also planning to do my chest/shoulders work out in the evening.

    So without further adieu,
    Today's goals:
    - Finish reading my notes for the exam and read half of the required material from the book.
    - Eat healthy.
    - Do the chest/shoulders work out.

    That seems to be it.

    Good morning!
    Gila.

I didn't do my planned work out yesterday because I preferred to study for the exam instead.
Today is supposed to be a leg w/o. Hopefully I'll get it done, but studying is a higher priority for now.

Has it ever happened to you that a mental state has affected your physical state?

I guess it was a rhetorical question, everybody must have experienced something like that.

I felt really energized this morning after my accomplishment, and the day seemed to go a bit downhill from there, and just about an hour ago I had an unpleasant event within the family that drained my mental and physical strength completely. I don't fee like studying, much less like working out. I just want to dig a hole in bed and not leave untill tomorrow's morning.

I know this feeling will pass by tomorrow, but I feel sad that I won't be able to acomplish all I wanted today.

I need a mental and physical rest right now. Guild Wars it is.

Thank you very much! I am trying to follow my 4 day split as closely as possible but I have been missing a few work outs due to exams lately. Oh well, studying is more important, and I only have 3 weeks of hectic studies left.

I'm back from my jog. I felt like skipping it this morning but posting in BD's journal motivated me to go for it

I'm definately not gonna run in my shorts anymore! I felt as if I was naked! Half the people in the street were staring at me! Why is women's sport wear so 'sexy'?!? I'm supposed to be doing sports, not flaunt my 'goodies' while at it!!! Jeez!
I'm definately gonna get myself a couple of men's shorts! they're far more practical!

I just realized that I've been eating the exactly same breakfast for 4-5 months now! Maybe even 6-7 months! I can't remember!!

    50 gr. of oatmeal
1 tbsp of cocoa powder (lots of it - I love the stuff)
    1 tbsp of demerara sugar
    1 scoop of whey protein

I hope I never get tired of that - this is the best food combo I've ever came up with!!!

They were staring because you're in shape and very good looking! :tucool: :tu: Nothing wrong with being sexy and exercising. Most people exercise to look sexier in the first place.

    Thanks! :D

I don't know, I prefer to look like a sweaty pig when I work out rather than a dazzling beauty... It makes the work out look so much more intence! :D

I'm glad that in some indirect manner my journal motivated you. :)

I think the answer is that those sport wears are designed by men.

"Flaunting" can be bad, but "hiding" what you have worked hard to achieve can also be bad. One should be comfortable enough with his or hers body in all situations. but I'd be an hypocrite if I said I live by this statement as you won't find my shirtless on the beach. :)

I at least am motivated by seeing a person (male or female)
in good shape. I would not "flaunt" my body once I reach my ideal physique, but I would not try to "hide" it either. Try to take the
extra attention as a compliment. Maybe even use it a new fitness barometer : Once you reach 3 automobile accidents due to distracted male drivers you'll know for sure that you are "Smooooking" :D

    GL again in your tests!

Hmm, I don't know, we may need some photos to understand what you are talking about. ;) just kidding

I know many countries consider different amounts of clothes as acceptable, and often women are held to stricter standards. Is that the case in Israel?

I haven't posted in a while - things have been REALLY hectic lately with the finals and the assignments. Last week was sort of a week off - I didn't do any sort of exercising and had a relatively crappy diet. Didn't gain weight though, because I really tried to keep the crappy food to a minimum (some icecream never killed anyone ;) )

I'm going to resume the training this Sunday.
